I've been using ditto to shiny check gimmighouls Essentially you just go into the raid with ditto, wait for it to transform, If it's shiny you run from the raid and go back in with whatever you want to win the raid with normal gimmighoul is silver and shiny is white
Pro tip: After connecting to the internet and starting this event, do not, I repeat, DO NOT connect to the internet after the event ends. As long as you don’t connect to the internet, the game thinks the event is still going and you can keep hunting for as long as it takes to find your shiny.
I've been hunting it for like 2 days now. Saw someone on reddit get it on 4 tries and I got so mad but can't help and congratulate them, I'm so jealous 😭
Honestly I like that you can barely tell it just has been polished now. That's how I feel about Persian as well. I genuinely think that's the theme of both Pokemon too. They're both money oriented
It's beyond ridiculous that the Pokemon Company would advertise this event as having a chance to catch shiny Gimmighoul. You have to check every event den to find a 5*, and then odds are 1/4096. It's so time consuming, you can't even encounter 4096 raid dens within the limited time event period. But yeah, I'll fall for it and hunt 😂

Are we going to get the Indigo Disk version of "How to Get Every Shiny ___ Type"? The Paldea and Teal Mask ones helped me massively in hunting. I can't thank you enough for the content you provide for us.
What people need to know is to make an additional savefile, do the check poké portal news, get such event, and live comfortably knowing that such event is preserved for themselves. Still have such myself of the 7star Eevee (with Kitakami outbreaks), Hisuian Voltorb outbreaks, Alolan Raichu outbreaks, and now the Gimmighoul event
I was a naive fool and didn’t date skip last event but now I’m never connecting to the internet and going far into the future to make sure I get at least two for my shiny living dex. I will not be denied
Just got my XXL Shiny Pichu with Snow Frolicker Mark. Since I did not update the game and preserved the Pikachu Mass Outbreak event. I guess it's time to update the game and do the Raid and hope to get a shiny.

Check twitch streams they Rng manip the event and there legit and quite a few streamers are doin it got 3 two with 2 speed IVs and a decent attack rating for my TR team and a best speed no attack one two in luxury balls and one in a premier...ya know cuz its a special event 😂😉🤙✌️ remember twitch you 5 days left

Wdym impossible until now. They did the event back in june 2023 and i wasnt even hunting for a shiny i was just doing the raids but i ended up catching a shiny on my 3rd attempt and i didn't know for a while because of the DANG CHEST COLOR. But yeah ive had a shiny ghimmegoul since 2023 i just haven't gotten around to evolving it.
I finally got 1 after about 4 days of online 5 star gimmighoul raid battle I was shouting out when I caught n check it in the box I send the photo to my friend immediately he was shock too
@@PhillyBeatzUif you mean completely closing and opening, yes, if you mean resetting my save, no, I got shiny gimmighoul from the tera raid yesterday, and for the past month my chests haven’t respawned
I feel they could have given us 2xp coins for defeating gimmghouls during its raid event, that way people that do get a shiny will be able to evolve one right away

@PhillyBeatzU so, I chose to check the IVs and it has 6 Best. Is that a guarantee that it was from a hacked den or is there a chance it is legitimate and I was just super lucky?
@PhillyBeatzU it took 3 days of regularly trying, but, after 3 more hacked dens (1 of which I didn't even enter because the username was literally a .net name) I found a legitimate den last night, my shiny having only 4 Best IVs, with its attack literally being No Good. Never thought I'd be glad to have a Pokemon with a No Good attack IV, but I'll make the exception for this occasion. Thankfully, I suspected it was a shiny when I was battling it, so caught it in a special ball instead of just the Luxury Ball. I chose the Beast Ball. One, because I doubted I'd be using it to catch anything else with its near 100% failure to catch anything but Ultra Beasts odds and two, I dunno, it just felt like the right ball to use considering Shiny Gimmighoul's Rarity. Good thing I found it last night too, as I was worried I'd be using up another weekend trying to find one. Now I'm just wondering if I'll go looking for another legit shiny for the fun of it or just focus on the outbreaks for the rest of the event.

I finally came back to this game defeated my long awaited Tera Raid Battle with Venusaur, did it with Weavile. Did Dondozo and now I got this event to do…. 1/4,103 I think it is?! I’m only on my 4th raid haha
Would’ve been funny if it’s shiny was completely silver I follow a host that has seeds for zero attack zero speed or tiny and jumbo Last year I obtained a zero attack and just recently jumbo
Well, from your games POV what you´ve done was joining somones raid and defeating and catching that pokemon. Said mon also doesn´t have any "weird" characteristics like different ability or moves, so from that perspective it´s absolutely legit. I´ve got myself two XXL shiny Gimmighouls that way (one to evolve and one to keep as Gimmighoul). Never had problems with either of them.
@@PhillyBeatzU It’s been evolved since the first raid event but the IV’s are HP: Best Attack and Special Attack: Best Defense and Special Defense: Best Speed: Best Even if it was a hacked raid I still have my OT on it, it’s still a great team member
