A live-streamed office hours tutorial on setting up a Shiny/RStudio Server instance on AWS. This particular version is a rerun from the original live-stream, with more linear code and generally avoiding major installation hiccups.
Code found here: github.com/tan...
You can follow me on Twitch at / tanho_ - I post stream replays here a little while afterwards!

I am so happy I found this! I'm shifting gears from staying in academia and working on Astronomy research, to work in industry as a machine learning engineer. There are SO many tools and languages that I am trying to learn in my free time. You do such a good job at making the content accessible and interesting!

This is probably the best tutorial on RU-vid. Maybe even on the internet as a whole. I have recommended it to all of my family members over the Christmas period even though they don't actually work in data science or an industry that would make it relevant to them.

This is awesome! So few views for such amazing content. There aren't too many places I could find on the web that showed how to do this (securely), so really appreciate this video and the helpful links you provide!

This is awesome, Thank you so much for the tutorial. I deployed sample application by following the tutorial, I am getting error : 'Error in loadNamespace(x) : there is no package called ‘jsonlite’', although i can see package installed in library folder, can you please tell me what can be the root cause?

Would really like to see a tutorial on how to schedule shiny in aws to update every day or hour. Great tutorial! I have an api that i connect to and would really like to see a way to update the project automatically.

hmm, I would probably make a script for this and set it to run with cron - this looks like a decent tutorial for that stevenmortimer.com/automating-r-scripts-with-cron/ - i might eventually do a github actions tutorial which is my current preferred way to run automated updates

@@TanHo Great thanks! I'm not familiar with the github actions so that would be cool as well.
