the race was a shamozzle. half of them over-raced. we will put that down to the heat? cylinder no excuses though. kings gambit sweat up so much, was drenched and ran huge three wide. learning to fly nicked the rail and took out legazzo so they both never had a shot. platinum jubilee, steel city over raced. guess when you have that many 2 year olds (huge field for a sprint race with a bend) on a very hot day you're bound to get a feral race. nevertheless, well done to shinzo, ryan moore and chris waller. great performance.
from parading to going into the stalls horses exposed to that heat, then having to race while they that warm, no bucket's of water at the start so horse's can have a cool drink, whole process in that heat way too long,no consideration for the horse's, i have been a big admirer of the race horse's for decades, but there are procedures on race day that the empty heads of racing have ignored, so long as the money rolls their way they are happy 🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎
