Also the reason they did it one was probably because the last couple fights have been 2 parters so they are moving the plot along

Gentlemen lost all duels so far and Tsubasa finally got a win. Wow..

I hope that you just put the wrong description for this fight, because you said the same for the Tsubasa vs Ren fight (which was actually good), but this one lacks in so many areas. 1) Mystic King was such a dissappointment. He is just a tower that sits on his ass and if he dies, he takes you with him. 2) We didn't have the fighg from the first turn. 3) The ending just shows that her ace is just nothing. Even with his protection, you can just attack him and win.

It's been 3 months and I still can't understand how her king died, it's DEF was at 10 at the end of her turn, the 1st follower did 5 damage to it so that would lower the kings DEF to 5, and Diamond Master only had 2 ATK so what did I miss that dealt 3 damage to the kings DEF

I don't understand what happened. Did she quit or was that an effect?

mystic king payoff just isn't really that worth it imagine collecting tons of destroyed pawns then summon 13/13 that just sit idly with last word lose the game, yeah sure on FF and evolve summon 2 pawns but on real game saving evo point is really hard unless rune on that time have evo point recovery card, just because king can't be destroyed by card effect doesn't means that 13/13 can be destroyed on single turn cuz effect damage exist, tbh king stat should be at least 16/16 and 18/18 on evo stats and give it another protection like if this card would take damage more than 4 deal 4 dmg instead that way you have really to waste all resource to win via king last word . kinda weird when they decided to put defensive follower to aggro deck

Probably the worst duel so far. It feels so rushed, and Shion's ace card is kinda trash for all the works you have to put to get it on the board.

That’s a really stupid lose condition for a not really broken card. It should’ve been like deal 5 damage to the leader or discard a hand or something, not lose the game lol
