Shiori here feels like that one boss you meet at her beginning of the stage, but you spend the entire stage building up to their fight instead of starting from the getgo
Or one of those endgame bosses that talks smack to you nonstop until you face them, realizing they're actually pushovers. Not that I have anything against Shiori as a person, but just that she'd fit that role rather well idk lol
I really like how your artstyle is sorta similar to across the spider-verse. Like, not really in a way, but with Shiori she reminds me of hobie's flow a bit even though the colorization doesn't change. I love your animating!
There's so much character in the movements, with Ina being reserved and nervous, and Shiori having all the confidence in the world, especially in the way she swayed in front of Ina while introducing herself and that exaggerated hip sway too. Man, I love Spiderverse. Just in general, of course, but also for inspiring this style of animation. It's just that eye-catching.
You know, I love what this implicates from a lore perspective. This Shiori might not even be of this world! This could be Shiori doing her book-hopping again, so she looks different compared to Ina who does belong to this world.
It reminds me a lot of Spider-Punk in Spider-Verse. He is always enveloped in this weird aura that makes him stand out 10 times more than the average spidey.
@@ChamadzeroSeems like something she'd do. But I think it's implied here that this is her library. Now, one may ask: "Why would she have a library here if this isn't her world?" The answer for that is, I think, a simple one too! Well, there are multiple possibilities. Firstly, it wouldn't be out of character for Shiori to establish a library in every world she has visited. She is, after all, the Archiver. But another idea is that she probably just takes over any library she can in any world. Sounds silly, but wouldn't be out of character for her too XD

This looks like a game trailer where you get to see one of the early bossses going through parts of a cutscene before the fight. Long build up until you realize shes the boss you need to fight to progress
I kinda want Shiorin's lore (power? If you can call it that) to be kinda like Mr Lin from I'm not the demon god's lackey. Like, her books contain vast amounts of knowledge and can either empower or destroy you with its contents. The topics of the books may range from the mundane, like an archive of all the events of X person's life; to slightly deeper stuff such as an archive on magic research on Y topic; to even forbidden knowledge about the outer gods and the secrets of the universe.
Oh this animation is so sick - the character acting, the camera movement, the stylistic effect on her!!! I don't watch Hololive but you really sold me on her appeal in this clip alone, this is so amazing! I hope she sees it herself someday (if she hasn't already) 💖🙏💕💗
