Well, yes and no. I have a guide to this ship but I had made a few changes since then. This is the original video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B3ylpaLk1Kk.html If I get a lot of requests, I can totally make a new updated video. 👍
First thing I did is was to put a toilet on the bridge... I was laughing out loud and wife wife asked why? I said I made a place for the "captains log." 😂
I completely agree: 1. They should have given us empty 1x1s. 2. We should be allowed to modify the standard habs beyond merely adding things, so we don't have to start from scratch with empty habs to get the look we want. PS: Great looking ship! Great external design Great hab layout Excellent job of decorating
I've come across a comment on the internet with a sort of fix for junk/items sinking in bethesda games like skyrim. I wasn't sure about it at the time but I've given it a try and so far it works on starfield.. In homes. I haven't tested it anywhere else yet. Drop the item/s in the cell you want to decorate then leave the cell (drop item in home, leave home through door or however) save then reload and then enter the cell moving item as wished. So far nothing I've followed this method has sunken however everything dropped normally are in the center of the planet.... the ham in my fridge is gone.
4:30 : You need to put the windows on the 2x2 hab, not on the one on top of it. This way it prevent the game to generate a valid ladder from the 2x2. I did the same on my ship and it worked flawlessly (and you can see inside the top hab from the 2x2).
Great video! I wish the "empty" versions of all-in-ones and living quarters included bathrooms. I'm weird like this, but if my starship only has 1 bathroom for an entire crew it doesn't jive with me lol
You did a great job on this video - gave us all the little details and still kept it concise. Have you heard whether they’re going to allow us to modify the decorations that come in the standard habs? I would love to be able to do that. It would also be cool if we could save premade customized habs. Even if we were only allowed to save up to 10 that would be very helpful.
Unfortunately no word on allowing customization of the standard interior habs. At least I haven't heard anything. So far, only adding things or blank slate with empty habs. Hopefully, someone makes a mod that allows that.
Jai, I know this is late, but if you use mods, there is a mod called 'Place Doors Yourself'. Only thing is, if you DON''T place a door or ladder where you want one, the point will be closed, no passage, no ladder. Check it out.
Dropping a book again, my Friend. lol With respect to the clutter in the 1x1 habs or any other items you cannot remove via the decorate menu, like those in the other habs or even outposts. Our companion, the ever handy, Bethesda Console comes grav jumping to the rescue again. 1. Open the console and click on the offending item to select it. 2. Run disable to get rid of it(or enable to restore it, if you selected the wrong item.) 3. Last, run markfordelete with the same object selected to be sure of it's removal and prevent potential problems. If you experience selecting a portion of the hab itself instead of the item you want, like I'd done to myself more times than I care to think about before disable/enable occured to me... 1b. Run tcl on yourself and get as close to the item as you can without clipping into the item and retry selecting the item. (To be more specific for those not familiar with the console. We need to run tcl with nothing selected in the console, meaning there are no numbers present in the top center of the grey console menu at the bottom portion of the screen.) 2b. Remember to run tcl on yourself(to remove no clip) when you're done with item removal or you will be intangible and all npcs with be stationary. Forever... lol And, please save yourself time and anguish, by remembering not to be dumb like I was. Don't skip the disable/enable steps and have to reload a previous save, repeatedly, because you've used markfordelete on a portion of your ship's hull. lol
You are a genius! It's pretty amazing how much you know about the game. Like I could play this game for the rest of my life and still not figure it out. lol 🙌
@NEON-Jai Least I can do my friend, you put in good work and that deserves interaction so the all mighty algorithm pushes it out to more viewers. I've set up my channel but not made an upload yet. Just don't know what to make, I've got a great voice but no video editing stills (was once a voice-over artist on radio, and had my own breakfast show for a while in NZ). Perhaps I'll do random gaming videos, who knows hahha.
The random ladders actually are what causes me to not design my ships how i want, if i could mive where the ladders are located id be happy but i cant so im not
@@NEON-Jai this has changed. The game does not reset decorations for the entire ship for interior changes anymore. Only the areas you change are affected. You can even move habs to new locations now and your decorations will move with the hab.
Pull up the scanner while inside the ship and the outpost/decorate key becomes available. Make sure your game is updated with the latest release from a few days ago.
@NEON-Jai I figured it out. My dumbass didn't think to open the scanner until I watched your video. I need to slow down and use my brain more, lol. However, thank you very much for the video, and may God bless you.
There's no single way of removing ladders. If you follow this build, you won't get ladders: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vKNbh1al9KI.html
what you’ve been hearing is a very vocal minority, most of whom haven’t even played the game, they just regurgitate opinions they heard on tiktok/x, in my opinion its a diamond in the rough, alot of good to be excited about and the obvious issues should be easy fixes
@@matthew17077 I’ve put about 100 hours into it when it first came out and never returned. I was wondering if it has gotten any better. It felt very repetitive and the worlds seemed too dead to me. Even the ones with life. I’m a huge Bethesda fan. Grew up on all of their games. I’ve been hyped for Starfield for a decade and felt let down at launch.
@@dustinlackey4250 i apologise for assuming you hadnt played the game, i found when i only focused on quests i had a much better time, and they’ve added a custom survival mode in the new update so you can completely change aspects of the game u dont like, i do completely get the criticism of exploring the planets and the fact that two research stations on completely different planets look and play exactly the same is inexcusable, but as far as next gen rpgs go, im not seeing many other options out there, i think you should give it another chance
@@matthew17077 I just may. It was graphically breathtaking at points. I just wish they leaned more into the procedural generation more. Maybe add a mode of transportation. Elder scrolls has horses. Fallout has power armor. I feel like there’s a few areas that are rather lackluster in Starfield. Transversal being up there. A little speeder bike would be amazing. Maybe with some saddlebags on it for when you’re over encumbered. Little quality of life things. I’m hoping to see some pretty awesome mods in the future.
It's been, what, 8 or 9 months since this game released? And this is the best they can do? Some empty habs and lame ass decorations?? Pass. Fuck Bethesda.
@@NEON-Jai which will cost an arm and a leg and have content that should've been released with the base game. Can you tell I'm kind of over the markets?😂
