I think the thumbnail for this should be switched to an All Funnel ship. Nothing screams coal rolling efficiency like a ship with nothing but funnels.

Speaking of the Warspite and bringing more ammo, I remember there was a story about one of her last Captains, who had also at some point commanded a light cruiser, charged one of the Italian battleships, and then personally wrote to the Admiralty complaining about how little ammo he had for his front guns after he ran out shooting at the thing. He's an interesting dude to read up on, man was every bit as badass as his ship.

From the Depths is amazing. It's a big thing to learn, but if it 'clicks' with you I think you'll love it -- it is basically the cartoon version of just this sort of speculative ship-smashing-together, but with voxel-grid fine editing, across a much wider degree of technologies -- from sails to jet engines and laser guns, and everything in between. You want to make an aircraft with a steam engine? Go for it! Jet-engined hydroplane boats with ramming prows? Sure! Want to drop torpedoes from a Zeppelin? Sure! Want your sailing ship to shoot cruise missiles that scatter mines? Just figure out how to make them clear the rigging and you're fine.

I didn't think I would hear Tex advocating for what's most of the premise of Girls und Panzer :D

And hey, that’s not true, my unit in the USMC, back in the states, we, at least the ncos, or not dumb ass, senior by time in service, but junior enlisted we allowed them to drink a beer or two at lunch when eating at the e club. And well, we may or may not have made a still when in iraq…haha. And yea our unit found out/knew. Told us to keep it under control, and only for squadron use.
