Never received much training at Ft Eustis on cargo handling as I went through the Harbor Craft Boatswain courses there in 1967. As it turned out, most of 1968 was spent at the munitions port at Sattahip Thailand as a stevedore (57H20) offloading bombs and other munitions from mostly left over Victory Ships
Brilliant video never seen before but wish I had years ago now all mainly defunct and redundant in favour of containerised cargo . Can remember using it all during my time at sea . It may be an American video and the wording of some gear is different but well explains why how and when sadly I had to learn the basics then the hard way British merchant navy.
