Automation is already there.. . most of the equipment and machineries that we use on board are so modern that they work with latest automation technologies , I will be showing such machineries in my coming videos !.. I think you are talking about autonomous ships! Well, this one we will have to wait and watch! shipping is controlled by a lot of regulatory frame works. It is not going to be an easy task to put a ship into the ocean which is 200-400 m long and carrying thousands of tones of cargo without any human being on board. But yes, researches are on going for making the ocean going autonomous ships possible . But we can not predict its future right now! that will be too early to make a call on it. Let me get some good details on it, then we will do a video on it.

Chief engineer akunnathu ethra samayam kondu namukku sailing experience nedam ennathanusarichum nammude chief engineer license exam ethra pettennu clear akum ennathumokke anusarichanu. Oru kollam 8-10 months okke sail cheythu pettennu exam clear akkiyal pettennu thanne promotion nedam.. But i do not sail more than 6 months in an year . Familykku koode time kodukkanam. I will be giving my chief engineer class 1 exams after this sail. May be by 36-37 I will be eligible to become a chief engineer.But that is future and future is not in our hands :)
