honestly just experience selling! I know that most of my girls on Instagram in general prefer a lower price point ($25-$50), more trendy pieces, and funky vintage, whereas more mature and higher end pieces do better on eBay and Poshmark for me. I think it’s different for everyone though!

Hi!!! I am so glad your're here! 🥰 For Poshmark, it's a flat rate, so I don't have to worry about sizes. For eBay and Instagram, I typically estimate the weight, especially now that ground advantage covers more than first class. I feel like I am a pro at estimating weights these days 😂 As for dimensions, I ship using only two sizes of polymailers and a couple of sizes of boxes, so it's pretty much the same for all of my orders. If I am iffy though, I will weigh them before I make labels! If I am wrong about a weight or size and USPS or UPS dings me, which very rarely happens, PirateShip will just automatically charge or refund my account!

Hi!! I am so glad you’re here! I’m sure every seller does it differently, but I set up shipping “profiles” in my eBay account and Shopify account for different size packages and link them in my Vendoo. It allows me to just select one of my three rate profiles when I crosslist, then I enter the exact measurement and weight when I purchase the label when the item actually sells. I charge three different flat rates depending on the rough size and weight of the package - I charge $5.99 for what I assume will be flat rate or ground advantage (t-shirts, light tops, leggings, etc), $7.99 for anything heavier than that but can still be shipped in a polymailer (sweaters, jeans, etc), and $9.99 for boxes (big shoes, heavy jackets, etc). It isn’t always perfect, sometimes I undercharge and sometimes I overcharge, but it ends up evening out and saves me a lot of time! I hope this helps!

I’m so glad you’re here! I think the most important thing to consistent sales on Poshmark is consistency - listing everyday, shipping often, sending offers frequently, etc. It really makes a difference!!
