Thanks, it was an excellent summary of your project, although I really enjoyed going back to your earlier videos and watching your progress in the order you you experienced them. Looking forward to the next episode.
This was the first video I watched of your adventure and it was fabulous. I adore your lifestyle!! I so enjoy watching! I am subscribing to your channel.
hi Paul. Just found your channel after watching Kirsten's video. I've been wanting to do what you've done for the last 4-5 years. I'm getting very close to being able to achieve that now, I think. I never thought to find someone who would let me use a small space on their land because land is the big cost here Australia
Hi Salubrium, I fully understand. There are lots of nice people out there. A small space on a block of land is a great way to start. Welcome to the channel. Cheers Paul
this is an excellent summary of your work..I've gone through almost all your old videos...nice job mate...didnt know you came from Scotland... cool RGO
ive been subscribed and watching your channel for a long while, and i really enjoyed that video. its really neat to see the process in one shot. Keep up the amazing journey!
Found you from her video and instantly subsribed to your channel Paul! Container house is something I want to try aswell someday for off the grid experience/living :)
Hi NaHHi5, my back catalog of videos has got some thought provoking ideas if you like the idea of a container house. follow links to my website, and select the videos tab. You can watch the build in sequence. Cheers Paul
Exciting news indeed! I watched the entire movie. My family is currently sleeping (it is 3:09 in the am.) I'm going to bed now, but I wanted to let you guys know that I thought the movie was great! Congratulations!
Paul, I was wondering, would it be a good idea to have a water container on top of one of the box containers and you could pump water up to it during maximum solar hours and you would have reserved energy for water pressure? like a water tower it would be in the sun, but it could be shaped by a cover or water collecting roof. Thanks for the video and I found you by Kirsten awesome video channel
We used to have our water tank on top of the house. I moved it down. We do follow your suggestion though. Out water tanks are uphill and they gravity feed back when required. Cheers Paul
Ho thar, what are those ceramic water filters called that you use, perhaps a link where one could aquire some. Btw, very inspirational what youve done with the place! xxx
They are Royal Dolton ceramic filters and the pots are Souther Cross Pottery. Go to my website , videos tab, #107 Clean safe drinking water. Cheers Paul
I am very proud of what she did. Kirsten is a very talented editor. The work she had to do to pull off that edit was enormous. I suspect retirement is a way off, but it has been a boost to my video making. There are a couple of videos ready to go so I will be posting them soon. Cheers Paul
Saw the video and loved it. Glad to see your wife was the driver for your adventure in the Australian bush. You are a lucky man, being with a kindred spirit. After all your effort, you two are living large, without debt, and living by your wits. You two are an inspiration, and there is no better videographer than Kirsten Dirksen to expand your youtube sphere of influence.
Hej Paul, I have watched most of your videos - very very nice! I enjoy them so much! Great Video from Kirsten Dirksen on your entire project! All the best & regards from Denmark Andreas
Very happy for you Paul. Happens to be that I watched it already. You are both two of my favourite housing youtubers. Very interesting video. Done very well.
I saw it and it was great keep it up my friend one thing I would do is buy some good size live fish and put them in your pond that way after a while you could fish for food so get the type of fish you like to eat.
Hi HackerreiChannel, welcome. I will be posting new videos quite soon. The fish idea has been on the in tray for a while. Someone suggested aquaponics (fish and veggies). Interesting. Cheers Paul
cool, well done mate .word getting around know hey ... and you from Scotland ? i didn't know that. My dad come from Dundee in Scotland what part are you guys from in Scotland? and yes i just got news from the power bill today that price of power going up again it never ends. so over power bills also cost over $600 a year just to have it there as back up for when there no sun for my battery bank still cheaper then fuel in the generator but
