So, I'm yet to sell anything on vinted...but I'm still confused about shipping. Do we not list the shipping price? It says we must get a quote from our respective shipping provider, but where do I put this quoted amount on my listing?

Hi :) I’ve just sold my first item on vinted and was wondering if you could help? I don’t have a pre paid postage label so I assume I’ve got to write it myself but on the postage instructions it mentions about adding a tracking number. Is this necessary? If so, how do I get one without a barcode. Can the item be shipped without a barcode if there is proof of postage. Thanks :)
Hi! Yes you can send it without a barcode. For the shipping without prepaid postage you have to pay in advance, so at the post office or whatever shipping option it is you have to ask for tracking. Otherwise the buyer can’t see where the package is and if the package is lost you both get the money back. After the buyer receives the package, you will receive the money for the item and postage. So just write the address and the name on a paper, put it on the package, ask for a tracking number when you pay for shipping and done.

Vinted are thieves. They dont charge for selling on the platform, but they get their cut somehow. The buyers or the sellers dont have the option to choose the shipping company they want. So they randomly select one

Hey😄 Well, as long as the clothes are looking decent, if you describe them well, write in the description if they have any defects and maybe put a picture with it, I think they won’t complain. Just be honest in the description, don’t edit the colors of the photo and everything will be fine. That’s my opinion 🤷🏼♀️ just don’t care that much about it

Hi Madalina, I've just joined Vinted and made three "supposed" sales on the first day, but no label to download and print anywhere for all 3 of them. This is so frustrating! What should I do? And Vinted customer services is no help whatsoever as their automated message states that I might have to wait for more than 48 hours for their response!!!

Thanks 😊 I bought them from AliExpress but you can find them also on Amazon. It takes longer until you receive it but it’s cheaper than on other websites. I think I have a link in the description of the video

I don’t have access to a printer.. how do I select the option for a digital label for every sell I make? Recently I’ve had to cancel quite a few sales due to it being a printed label and not a digital label.
So technically we can just print the label out and stick it ourselves with some glue or tape, we don't need a special label printer that prints the label already with glue on it? Thank you

Do you know how to get a qr code from vinted. I took a parcel to Evri for postage but they couldn't print the label for me as I have no printer but they said I needed a qr code from vinted and then she could scan and print. Please help cos I ended up sending it by first class post
I have an item that sold on vinted and the buyer sent me a downloadable shipping label, on my page it said buyer paid £3 but not the postage. I’m unsure how this works as it’s my first time. It’s a hat I was selling and not sure whether I would get the money for postage or not
Normally it doesn’t say the price for the shipping, or it says 0£ because it was already paid and you don’t have to pay anything. Could you tell me the name of the shipping company, please ? It’s easier to know if they paid or not

They have limits for the size of the package so you can’t use boxes bigger than their limit. And you can drop it at any Mondial relay, it doesn’t matter where it is

Vinted heeft vaste prijzen voor verzending. Je hoeft alleen maar de maat te kiezen: small, medium, large en de koper ziet de prijzen wanneer ze het artikel kopen.

Hey! 👋 I use English because I live in Belgium (they speak 2 languages, so don’t know what to use that’s why I used a 3rd one 😅) but people find me from Belgium, France and Spain so I guess it doesn’t matter that much. You could write it in both languages, but like you said the app is translating everything so I don’t the language is important 🤷🏼♀️ maybe try for example 1-2 week to have it in Italian and 1-2 weeks in English and see if there is a change in buyers or favorites and than decide 😄

No, depends on the shipping options. If its a prepaid label you just print it and put it on your packet and than send it. If you have to send it by post than you pay first the shipping and when the buyer receives the package you will receive the shipping money back
Thank you for this, I just have a question that I don't really know what to do about, what do you do if someone asks of you'd do free shipping? I can't figure out how that would work. Do I cut shipping price out of the main price? Please help if you can lol
I don’t think you can offer free shipping because the buyer pays it automatically. The shipping price is not in the price of the item that you sell, it’s separate. You can offer to make the price of the item smaller but they will still pay for shipping. For example the item is 10€ and shipping is 3 € than you can make the price for the item 7€ +3€ shipping, so in the end they pay 10€ in total. But I don’t understand why you would do that🤷🏼♀️ Or you could use an outside of Vinted shipping method and pay the shipping yourself but that is not safe because you can’t be sure if you will receive money after. I wouldn’t recommend to do that, but is your choice

The thing is, if the buyer already pays, the label will have a barcode and the people at the drop point need that code for tracking and sending it further. I don’t know if there are other prepaid labels without the barcode. So I guess if the label that you get when someone pays doesn’t have a barcode than you can write it by hand, otherwise I don’t think so. You could ask the shipping company if they can receive the package with a handwritten label, they might say yes🤷🏼♀️ but I don’t know... hope that helps 😊

In the conversation with the buyer Vinted is telling you what the buyer chose and you have to ship it with that option
All payments from buyers will stay in pending balance until the buyer has received the package and confirms that they got the package or 2 days after they received it. Than the money will go to active balance and than you can use them to buy something else on Vinted or put them on your bank account. For the shipping label you can find instructions in the conversation with the buyer.

hello thanks for the vid. may i ask a question? what happens if the byer receives the parcal but is naughty and pretends they never received a package, can they have their money refunded back to them, and then the seller is left with nothing, no money and has also lost item too!
There is tracking on all Vinted parcels so they will talk to the delivery company and see that the parcel was delivered. And if the parcel is “lost”, vinted will intervene if the clam sounds fake

Normally you can find the label or the buyers address in the conversation with the buyer. If they chose a shipping option with labels that are made by that company, you have to just press download and print it from your email. If they chose a company that doesn’t make labels, you have to write/print the address . It all depends on which shipping option they chose.

I can’t help you. You should not have available the options that have premade labels for printing if you don’t have a printer. You can cancel the order or ask a neighbor/friend to print it for you, or go to a store that can print papers. I don’t know how to help you if the shop said no…
