Checking the weather and time of day would be a helpful addition to this game. In a few of your video scenes only someone quite insane would venture out on the ocean in some of those game boats and risk darkness and severe weather conditions, alas the game does not give you an opportunity to stay safely in port. Maybe the developers intended to add to your adventure by risking your life and boat. What do I know?
I am absolutely loving this series! Please don't take the following as an insult or in any way demeaning to your gameplay - I simply had a good laugh and wanted to share: 24:14 and 26:20 Reads patch notes while his boat is doing flips on the waves! "Everything is still here except my pride!" LOL I admit that I like where the game is headed, but it definitely has some issues that need to get fixed before I part with my $$$ to but it. For instance, the waves close to shore are unreasonably strong. Honestly, I thought the waves were good when the game released but they made them too strong a couple of episodes ago.
I hope they do work on a really good dynamic ocean model, and a good weather and cloud system that makes relaxing atmospheric environments. It's very important for a game like this. I'm eager to see an actual ship in the game, I'm assuming they are planned since the game is called "Ships At Sea"
It would be nice if I could use my steering wheel controller from the driving sim setup, and the throttle from the HOTAS setup, and use them together as a boat simulator setup. They are basically the same type of control surfaces
@@BradM73 Fast travel is like teleporting or sail from a to b anywhere on the map in seconds, but is not implemented yet. Me personally like to drive and manouvering the ship myself. But if they expanding the map area, it can be useful. I`m still waiting for a fix for the weather systems. Now I have big big waves all the time, everyday. Very very hard to catch the buoys when fishing, and takes alot of time. But it will come an update for this, and I`m very happy for that,
