Shipt Fired Me! Now What? 

Shipt is scandalous Im deactivated after 17 months

I took it the same way after I calmed down. My rating was slowly dropping and I asked why. I complained about driving all the way to a location only to have it canceled or reassigned without telling me why. There was glitches in the system that when a couple of times, I had to rescan and argue with Shipt because they canceled orders for customers when the customer never canceled. I told them that they lost a customer and I took screenshots of that conversation with the customer because what they did to her was wrong. She had a small child at home and needed items for her child. I was at Target when this happened and Shipt blamed Target for canceling when the manager said they don't have any authority to do that. Plus the manager told Shipt that this has happened several times in their store. I find it funny now that they blamed Target when Shipt is owned by Target. I pleaded to ask why and how much of a bind that they are putting me in with the fact that I was using that money for gas when I have to travel 2 hours one way to doctors appointments for my toxic exposure when I was deployed. Trying to keep it together for my kids and all of this fell on deaf ears. Plus they deactivated my account 20 minutes after sending me an email to take a refresher course. I appealed and same blanket statement. They won't give me my money for the order that I did that day nor do I know if I was even tipped. I told them that this is theft. So since they repeatedly won't tell me anything, I did respond that I will see them in court. No matter if it is by attorney or small claims court because this is wrong. Seeing other videos now and reports, it appears that this is what they do. We are not independent contractors, we are employees which I see is why the class action suit in CA found Shipt liable for this practice. I loved my customers, had a 4.93 rating. Most of my late forgiveness was approved except for one which I disagreed with. They need to be held accountable, but I cannot let companies like these cause me emotional distress. I have already been through enough. There is simply nothing worse than not knowing. And it is not worth aggravating my PTSD. They are cruel and evil for what they did and I will see them in court with receipts.

This happened to me, loved the job and the customers. Worked about 3 month made great money. Was building a list of preferred customers. Somewhere in all the reading and information I missed the 90 percent expectation for not being late. I worked and worked with customer substitutions additions. Commun😅communicated if I was going to be late. They were always happy to get their order we worked on. My late fell to 84 percent. Everything else comment ratings were awesome. Yes deactivated. Try to challenge they just wished me well so frustrating. 😡

I was just deactivated and I don’t understand why! SMH held a 4.7 for the longest (rarely shopped for them, as their pay drastically dropped!) my last pay out was oct 28th and I’m sure I only did one or two orders to get that! So I know i didn’t have any late orders! SMH maybe they didn’t like how I wasn’t doing any orders! I definitely know I didn’t violate anything! I’m just upset because I was using the Gympass app and I’m sure I’ll no longer be able to do that! All of these gig apps are trash now! They pay Pennie’s and want us to do more than when they were paying decent! Smh

Hi! Everything you said was absolutely true! Something similar happened to me minus the kids. I'm willing to believe that has happened to many former Shipt Shoppers , the removed me without identifying what 'Conducts of Standards' I allegedly violated leaving me clueless with my appeal being forced to guess what it could be! I could only indicate all the positives like 98% , timely delivery... I had a 4 88 that suddenly nose dived in 3 days to a 4.53 with # 1 stars having only been 1 and overnight turning into 6!!! I talked to experienced Shipt Shoppers (a year or more) who told me what I already read and suspected...the customer ratings are fickle and whimsical and for Shipts part they don't educate the customer members or themselves on the various situations drivers face! PLUS ,Shipt doesn't take real responsibility for it's mistakes such ,as wrong information in the App , addresses and phone numbers and names... leaving customers to blame Shoppers, which then Shipt goes after! Shipt trys to outdo itself, and has coordination and bad internal communication between various trouble shooters , also bad GPS softwareI I can say this even though I only drove for Shipt for 2 months , made them money , but was and am an Uber driver for 9 years + Retire from the Federal government as a Transportation manager...Shipt is a roll over operation in my opinion and very unfair!
