I hate how they gang up on shirabu. He obviously needs help and support. Nobody takes drugs for fun. He's in pain but they don't seem to get it.. I need a second part 😭
They really didn’t understand Shirabu, he was being a dick not only because if he lost that suitcase then according to Suga’s words he would be sold to some really shitty people. Also, drugs get you addicted, it’s like falling out of love. It hurts, like, a lot. Also, the other guy (Jules) was cheating on him any way and what Shirabu said about Jules was true. Jules does like to be loved and instantly attaches herself to anyone showing any interest in her.
I relate to shirabu here not him being a drug addict just the part where they told the mom first rather than ask him about it first. Like drugs is dangerous not just because it's drugs but because of from who you got it. I'd cut my frnd off too if they did that to me.
I really need somebody to speak out and REALLY defend Shirabu in the gc like how are they gonna get mad at him for being a addict and for panicking over the suitcase like they don’t remember why he is in the first place and tbh Oikawa and Daishou were really getting on my nerves like why are y’all just worried about Yahaba when y’all should be worried about BOTH OF THEM!! And one more thing that irritated me was how basically everyone was saying how they hated him now bc of this one incident like y’all are supposed to be there for him as a friend not hate him and if this one incident can make y’all turn around and hate him than y’all were never true friends to begin with

euphoria is a show that really touches on how “new” mental health really is. the parents don’t know what to do so they react in bad ways because they’re scared. it doesn’t mean that they’re RIGHT it’s just human nature. throughout the years as we learn more and more about addiction and how it fucks up the brain it slowly becomes less of a choice. that’s what addiction is and adding a fucked up mental health/having mental illness like ocd, bpd, or even just generalized anxiety disorder doesn’t help. it pushes the need for whatever you’re addicted to even further whether it be sugar, attention, caffeine, alcohol, or drugs. the way that a lot of these characters react are realistic because they’re scared. i loved this. it hurt because i feel for shirabu but i also understand why this has to happen. we don’t know how to deal with it yet. this was awesome 👏
PLEASE THIS RANT WAS SO LONG IM SORRY. i’ve taken a lot of meds because of my epilepsy and the side effects it causes like depression and anxiety and stuff so i understand the medical side of addiction but for some reason i’ve never actually gone through withdrawals when i’ve done my fair share of weed and nicotine and i think it’s due to my brain already being fucked up from seizures so not being able to get addicted allowed me to study what people yearn for without actually having to go through the drawbacks.
Dude.... I first watched this show when I had never done drugs or anything of that sort and this is my first time rewatching it (or watching a new scene I don't remember if this is in the first season). I started crying because I relate to Rue so much it's horrible. Quitting is so hard.

It's kinda sad that they don't understand how Shirabu wants to change but can't. My father was the same, he had similar breakdowns and we had similar experiences, Shira is just that, he can't control his emotions, and he wants to change even when he can't.
Rue's mom didn't try to help her... In fact, wasn't she put on multiple drugs as a kid because she had a shit ton of mental disorders? That's how a lot of people get addicted to drugs. Like imagine putting an 8 year old on a shit ton of pills and then thinking they'll be fine. Also rue's mother is never around so she doesn't know what her kids are doing, even rue's sister via smoked some weed before. The only reason she stopped was because RUE put a stop to it, not her mother... Plus people cope differently especially when all else fails them. So yes... Rue's mom failed her.
I hate how they’re ganging on him. You can’t just stop being an addict, it takes a lot of time, sometimes even years to stop, so they shouldn’t do that. I mean drugs are bad, but ganging on him will only fuel his addiction, since for many people it’s a escape from pain. I know you probably put that for drama, but as a person who’s trying to come clean and relate to Rue/Shirabu a lot, I feel really horrible. I’m not saying this to be mean, I just wanna give perspective of someone battling with addiction

Please take this as a constructive criticism! no hate to you at all, I did enjoy the video! As a person who has struggled with drug addiction throughout her life, and still struggles with it to this day, I feel as though the way everyone in the groupchat took the news was very invalidating! Even if it was for the sake of drama, I'm sure there are other ways to bring about the drama and entertainment value you are looking for. Drugs can destroy a person mentally, physically, and emotionally. This is a well-known fact and it being brought up more could've maybe made the reactions a bit less harsh. Also, the idolization of Yahaba in this was a bit hard to watch in this, and made the reactions a bit harder to stomach. I think the detail with the Miya Twins' father was a nice touch, but I also think that could've opened a door for them to understand why Shirabu is the way he is a bit better than others, and maybe help explain that to the others. However, overall, I think the casting for the video was good, the editing is well done, the audio quality is amazing as well! I just hope you take this into consideration for future videos :)
I watched this video long ago but never said anything about it. I’m going to say something now though. If you are planning a part two I have an idea that you can use. The second part doesn’t have to include a live video. It could be where they confront him in the gc. The fact that they got mad gets me mad, but it does add more drama like you intended. Both sides are in the wrong here. The ones reacting had no right to gang up on shirabu. Of course he is panicking for the pills. His life is in danger because of Suga. How they reacted was immature and was unreasonable. They could talk it out and maybe end with an ending where they apologize and support him in his journey to leave behind drugs. I haven’t watched Euphoria so I don’t know how it ends or if it had ended. This is your story so you can give it any ending you want. It could be some sad stuff and end with shirabu being kidnapped because of the pills. I don’t know if there is an episode where that happens but yeah. Just some ideas that are free to use if you are planning on making a part 2 and can’t think of anything. If you are already working on something great!. If you’re not planning on a part 2, that is perfectly fine 😩

I hated that because why are they being mean to him because he’s taking drugs? I know it’s bad but you could at least come for him like your comfort thing.
