I was 15 and had been dating my husband for a year. He was always Ralph Laurennhead to toe, so he asked for some Polo Boots ($300) and I bought them and hid them (I knew my parents would trip).I saved allowance and had a PT JOB. He bought me a diamond tennis bracelet. To say our parents were pissed was an understatement 🤣😅 But were 46 and still together. But as parents now we understand. Clothes have Thrift Store written all over them. As a single parent, I LIVED to shop at Thrift Stores because it was the only clothes shopping always in my budget.

Please do a video about the ugly sweater competition giving by Christmas ministry and tell them that just cuz they had on them ugly sweaty sweaters all summer dont mean they can compete on Christmas...and please make sure sister Jenkins and nim arent spraying themselves with 99cent store lysol...all participants that compete must have a receipt dated no later then 30days prior to date of entry...lastly if i can smell them walking up with their sweater they are automatically disqualified for not washing their tails this is ridiculous make me wanna walk off on em....thank.u
Absolutely, my husband and I don't wait til Christmas to buy something we NEED. No need to go into debt in December and watching for your tax return in Jan/Feb to pay it off. Stressing out for stuff you really don't need. We don't exchange gifts with friends or family either. You're not using my income to fill your house. If someone gets us something, even though we say not to. I'm going to get you something you can benefit from. Say a gift card to a grocery store. I'm not above regifting either, especially knick knack items. I rather go on vacation instead of sitting at home dusting junk.
