Shirley Temple - On The Good Ship Lollipop \ Reaction 

Temple died at age 85 on February 10, 2014, at her home in Woodside, California. The cause of death, according to her death certificate released on March 3, 2014, was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Shirley didn't become Dorothy because she was with a different movie studio and they would not lend their biggest star out.

You should had watched her when you were a kid. I was born in '56, years after she was making movies. We loved Shirley Temple. My sister was named after her. She is one of the celebrities on the Beatles' Sgt Pepper cover. She didn't really get into politics as much as she was just appointed a delegate to the UN by Richard Nixon. She was later appointed a UN Ambassador.
