I noticed that Shirogane doesn't have eyebags or that sleep hair sticking out. He started working so hard after falling in love with her, just to be with her. He definitely deserves her.

He works hard at his academics but don't forget that he also works part time jobs, and even stays longer at school for student council job and kaguya still can't beat him. He got in to Shuuchin at a time when he wasn't even working as hard. Edit: he was also some sort of a kid genius as well and thought that's the only reason his mom loves him.
Actually she does that because of that girl's family so Shinomiya saved her to gain advantage which is surprisingly consistent with her cold and calculated personality 😂

@@chunnilal2111 well she indeed attracted to kindness and sincerity because she grew up without it. She's fundamentally kind but her calculating personality often overdrive it since her family directly thought and show her that she needs to be calculating and cunning to survive.
How did they manage to balance out comedy with romance so well? Like this is the perfect rom-com. It’s crazy to me how this show was popular with female and male audience. I love how no matter what we all died at the final episode. It was crazy😭
@@azul1964 that's the whole point of the show, they're playing childish games because that's their core belief but also that's why this is a comedy because it's also making fun of how childish they are. They eventually grow into better people the more they get to know each other tho, so yeash it's cute.

What I love about the MC is that he is a very realistic character who is not perfect but striving to be as perfect as possible while combating his own daily weaknesses. I honestly think he is one of the greatest male leads in anime history!
people find ishigami relatable more, but for me miyuki hits different, it mirrors my own mentality in sports. I totally get the feeling of being “average” and pushing yourself to your absolute limit just to keep up with talented people,
he's shown as a competitive genius. he's also VERY hardworking and kind. plus the presidents of the student council (in anime and realistically) are considered exceptionally intelligent and superior. idk what u mean by normal here cuz he's definitely got every popular character trait😭
he's not normal. In an environment like that where it's full of the top percentile, only those truly above the rest gets to be at the top. Hard work gets you far, for sure, but that alone won't put you at the top. At some point, genetics become a massive factor. Proven time-and-time again in sports (physical and non-physical), ie. Chess, Competitive programming, Esports, Pool, etc.
It's funny how Kaguya has lifeless eyes and Shirogane has normal eyes in the flashback. Then present day, Kaguya has normal eyes and Shirogane's eyes are dead.
This anime surprised me in the best way. Judging by the title I expected something silly and unserious but I instead got one of the most compelling romance in anime.
Shirogane really proved himself of wanting to be worthy of Kaguya! He knows that he’s out of her league, that’s why he had to work hard knowing the background he came from, but its no excuse for him to not pursue her, so that’s why he became the president of the student council :) A TURN ON! While people are talking about how real Shirogane is, one must not forget that the previous Student Council was filled with so many skilled misfits that it actually allowed Shirogane to have that push to be who he is now.
Kaguya was so special for me she is the best girl in show even if was hayasaka much better, i really like her development character and her backstory and how deep she is and her mood swings and many sides show you how realistic her personality is . all this make her the best girl along with hayasaka
All Kaguya wanted was to be a normal girl like everyone else. Wanted to be normal and not be feared or hated because she was Shinomiya. At least she accomplished her goal.
This series brought tears to my eyes. I remember loving it after season 1, and picking up the manga up till slightly past this It's still so great to see such wonderful characters animated

He is sooooo lucky, because usually a girl like Kaguya would already be engaged or in a relationship. And the strategy that the OP took to study hard and surpass her and stuff usually takes too much time and in that time even the single girls get taken. So yeah he's lucky.
I agree, hopefully we get a special chapter in the future showing their wedding. Hopefully it will be in their POV because usually wedding scenes in anime/manga are always in the perspective of the background characters and we get like one panel of the actual couple towards the end.
Yeah especially Kaguya's last name is "Shirogane" so it's safe to say they got married behind the scene somewhere in the chapters of Oshi no ko I guess? Though seeing Shinomiya from other manga really caught me off guard though I knew it is coming.

other than the Iino and Ishigami, the manga ended just fine. It's just Aka wanted to focus on Oshi No Ko. I mean he was taking more breaks than usual and smartly let the others do the drawing. I mean he was drawing Love is War chapters and writing Oshi No Ko in the same week most times. He just found a way to let someone else to the drawing and make less stressful for him.
So when did Kaguya start falling for him? The guy worked his ass off just to be with her. The whole being president thing was probably just so she would notice him & realize he's worth it. Imho nobody work so hard just to be loved but hey if they want each other that's them. They do make cute couple.
He really did all that just for her to notice him AND fall in love with him ? I don't know, he seems way too idealistic and unrealistic guy to me, like there is no way this guy didn't fuck up at all in his quest for love, kaguya love for him didn't seem realistic to me either tbh, like i don't know what made her fall for this commoner as she says. To me i just find ishigami way more relatable dudu is actually try and fail to succeed and didn't get his ass handled to him by the writer.
She started to like him during their time together in Student Council. But in my opinion she really fell in love during the Fireworks arc. Before that it was more like a crush.

I don't think everyone is "after" her other than Shirogane. Well she is from the richest family in Japan and she's also sort of an enigma in school & it intrigues everyone i guess. And she's the main lead....
