I think either the Rina Grace duo for Disorder or the 2 new Calydon members will be a big step up here. You got to see the disorder numbers the Grace Rina one can dish out, they and Piper are sending nukes at that point 😅
Which 4 piece is better for piper? freedom blues (anomaly buildup) or fanged metal (physical)? I see her recommended set in game (based on player data) is freedom blues, but every guide and site says fanged metal is better. what are your thoughts?
Fanged metal is a lot better if you can get good pieces! It will deal more damage overall. Piper applies way too much anomaly buildup anyways. Right now I'm using Freedom just because it's more efficient to farm (it's with Ellen ice set). I am guessing, players use Freedom for the same reason as me. If you're wondering, the 35% additional damage of the Fanged 4 set also applies to assault damage.
@@bittersuet I don't think so. Based on wording, It only applies after you do assault on the enemy. If you do my setup like in this run, only the 2nd one will benefit from the dmg bonus.
Thank you for asking, both of you. I'll (probably) do a video about freedom vs fanged soon after I get good fanged pieces, stay tuned. There's more layer to this so I want to test by comparing it directly, also I don't want to spread bad info. Comp, gameplay setup, and anomaly buildup also applies when choosing which to set to use. Keep in mind, unless you do my setup, you really won't get the benefit of the fanged set.
You need to focus on hitting 1 leg at a time until it procs impaired. Not entirely sure how much damage you need to do for each leg tho, sorry about that. Also you can't hit the legs during stun phase, that's why I'm using my ultimate when the boss is not stunned
How did your Ellen do her charged attack so fast in the beginning? Wondering if it's something in one of her cinemas because i thought she does her charged attack fast after perfect dodges
This run I'm using an atk disc. Phys and atk are very close in dmg, use whichever has better substats. Though using a phys disc gets better if you're using atk buffers such as Lucy. For pen, you need to get a lot for it to be good. Having Rina or Grace's engine would make it on par with phys or atk. I've tried all 3 discs. And from my testing, the phys disc deals the most damage using this team.
I gotta get my piper fully built I already enjoy doing a koleda Ben piper assist swap team (I don’t have Lucy fully built yet), I hate the enemy that does the invis tp with a passion such an annoying mob to fight
Even more so in this shiyu since I think they changed his patterns from normal lol. One tip from me is to fight him directly facing into a wall, so he doesn't have much space to teleport.
Assault anomaly effect (10s more daze) kinda goated. And for some reason this time, when you do a defensive assist / switch parry against the boss you deal more daze.
Wait, you're actually right.. Thanks for pointing that out. I usually proc Soukaku's buff during stun, Soukaku proc chain -> Ellen chain attack. I changed strategy for this boss to use buff early for breaking the legs. I guess it never came to me that it doesn't work like that lol. Yeah, Ellen - Nicole - Soukaku should be the lineup. How do you make it where on piper shes doing around 2.5k damage? for me my piper doesnt do that much and i have the same discs and everything. I see many people with the same build as me on different characters (like zhu yuan for example) but theirs do way more damage and i dont know what causes that..
@@andododo i see, it could be the reason of the w-engine because im using rainforest gourmet on my piper and my skills are all almost level 7 except dodge and the chain attack
The boss is still in pre-stun phase (rainbow meter) at that time since I cancelled the chain attack -> then Nicole's follow up attack triggered the chain once again.
