Hi Tim. Great videos. There is Mercedes 240d from 1976 in the museum that has on the clock 4,6 million kilometers. It used to be a taxi in Thessaloniki Greece.

I used to go to the Sydney International Motor Show with my dad when i was in my teens in the mid 60s. The highlight was always the Mercedes stand with the cutaway cars and the films showing the factory and safety technology.

Only thing what I didn´t know was that boxer engine. And the name Mercedes came from Mr.Daimler´s daughter and the three pointed star came from the postcard which he send to his wife. I know my cars. =)

Sorry but youre not correct at all. The name Mercedes was the name of a daughter. But from the partner of Gottlieb Daimler. Mr. Jellinek. And the idea came from Paul and Adolf Daimler, the sons of the company founder who had died several years earlier in 1900: they adapted a three-pointed star for use as the brand logo. Their father, Gottlieb Daimler, had used a symbol like this one to mark the family's house on a postcard depicting a view of the town of Deutz. And the three-pointed star symbolises the use of Daimler engines on land, at sea and in the air.

Ich bin eine junge frau aus Algeria in meinem ganzen laben ich habe von diesem Mercedes Benz geträumt zumindest habe ich davon geträumt es zu fahren aber es scheint mir nicht dass es hoffnung gibt ..😔 I tried commenting in Germany because the car was originally German I have nothing to do with this language but i tried to learned it for Mercedes Benz 😇😅

Yeah I sent my email for my recommendations the F015 plus the IAA and I won't pay its recommendation and live coverage universal inspection made already this is Google RU-vid exist to provide the concept it's still inspection.

I was at this museum this summer. I've been to many of the manufacturer museums in Europe and this is probably the best. It's fantastic and everybody should make an effort to go.
