Everyone on American soil has constitutional rights. You lose those constitutional rights when you become a 14th amendment citizen. As a citizen the right becomes a privilege in states that deny right to bear arms for their citizens. One has to be a part of the political body before the rules of the political body apply to you.

Non-citizens would be granted more and better rights than American citizens. Right now in many states you have to get the government's permission to buy a gun and you can only buy the gun they say you can have. There are hundreds of reasons why they might reject your right to own or carry a weapon at all. Illegal aliens should not be getting welfare or any other money from citizens tax dollars.
