@DestronDrummer I don't think Hot Rod intended for that to happen. He seemed like the happily enebriated jolly fellow excited to be there more with his friend more than to actually have a drink. Shockwave may not be used to such aberrant behavior, but it's ok Shockwave, be comforted in knowing not every bot act like Hot Rod (in time he'll make a fine Prime.... using purple mixers.... for everyone drinks....)
@@cuddlyrobot I checked Hot Rod's tech-spec, it says his function is CAVALIER which is silly, that's a title of someone (usually a knight) that supported King Charlies I in the English Civil War (1642-1651) or a small spaniel of a breed with a moderately long, noncurly, silky coat. When used as an adjective it means someone showing a lack of concern. Why don't we just put down AUTOBOT WARRIOR and leave it at that? 😏
The many expressions of Shockwave || = Happy || = Angry || = Sad || = Pensive || = Thoughtful || = Concentrating || = Distracted || = Had just about enough of your shit, Hot Rod
Another slice of Cybertronic life. It is a tragic truth that when a member of the rhythm section finds their way to the front of the band the sudden, unfamiliar, adulation can cause challenging behaviour changes. Just remember, shockwave, that hotrod's brash behaviour masks his fear of being rejected by the cool kids. As a friend you really ought to consider ways that you can use that fear to twist him like putty in your hands.
Poor Shockwave, always having to put up with lesser minds XD (reminds me of Cyberverse where he complains to Wheeljack that he's the only intelligent one in the Decepticons and calls the Seekers stupid in their faces)
I must admit I kept my composure right up until the "mixing device" came out. After that I was crying with laughter until the end. Who needs an egg beater with a device like that!
it's nice to see a Decepticon and an Autobot happily working side-by-side together while deep down inside there is a secretly burning passion to vaporize one another into smithereens, warms my Barbaric Heart.... (sniffles)
@@TheCybertronicSpree Learning valuable lessons? That only happens to characters from kids' shows! Until the next week when things return to the status quo, anyway.
I think Arcee is the robot in disguise here as Shockwave... Just body structure and mannerisms and the voice synthesizer, seems to point to her. Just a hunch... :)
OMG, I can't stop laughing - fantastic concept and delivery. These two are classic. Also, Shockwave having an NPR mug is spot-on. Excellent hot toddy- er, roddy recipe. A perfect mix. 10/10!
I find it funny how Hot Rod couldn't find a freaking spoon in the kitchen. But found a "mixer" in Shockwave's bedroom, does, does Hot Rod not know that is not where actual mixers are kept? 🤭😆 (5:00)
I can imagine if Galvatron was in the band he would be laughing his tailpipe after trying to warn Hot Rod not to drink it but failed 🤣🤣🤣 love this videos and the band u guys r rad 😎😎😎
Why does Shockwave sound like Soundwave? Aside that, I couldn't stop laughing at this skit. I feel Shockwave needs a bow tie to make him a really classy bartender.
The TV show took a few creative liberties with our voices. The boardroom folks were like "These two robots have 'wave' in their names - that's similar enough. You have to use a different voice modulator, Shockwave" - and since Shockwave is featured far less in the series, he opted to have his voice changed. There you go!
It makes sense that Shock would support NPR. He is a bot of proper intelligence and reason. He and Terry Gross would make an excellent daily radio show.
