You should have tried Chinese Scallion Pancake with eggs aka Jianbing as the picture shown on the wall in the last shop you visited, very crispy, tasty and nice. Really enjoyed your video, thanks for sharing, Danny and enjoy your stay in Shanghai.
I lived in Shanghai for 2 years, Dany. China is the safest country I have ever been to and Chinese people are some of the kindest people you'll ever meet. Shanghai is one of the best cities in the world! Enjoy your visit 😁
Fantastic, I'm moving from Beijing to Manila in October and look forward to sharing on my RU-vid too 😊 Been documenting my journey my past years in China 🇨🇳🌆🍗
But if it is reported by BBC, CNN or Indian media. They will filter the video to look foggy and polluted before they upload the video to show their viewers how polluted China is.
This video is fantastic! The way you capture the skyscape of Shanghai with such unique and beautiful angles is truly extraordinary. It's different from anything I've seen on other channels. Great work!
The problem with Huawei is that it has the most key 5G patents and the best 5G network equipment -- the USA government doesn't like that because 5G is a critical technology that it doesn't want China to lead. So the USA keeps spreading lies about the company to use as justifications to sanction the company. The USA is also trying to prevent China from progressing in AI and so has banned the sales of microchips and machinery to China.
Dany how refreshing and exciting all this in Shanghai. 😮 you walked with ease from the airport to the streets like an experienced traveler. 😊 as always looking forward to next video.
China is so clean, so big! And the people are so polite and friendly. The Bund, you see it on YT, on pictures, but nothing like seeing with your own eyes. It is like....staring into the future!!!!! Thank you for sharing! Watching from Malaysia!!!!! Subscribed!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome to Shanghai China! Please come back to the Bund in the evenings. All the buildings lights will give you a total different or even better view of the skyline. Greetings!
Though there are so many street food and smaller diner that one could easily be attracted to, I highly recommend to eat at some of the nicer restaurants to enjoy the food, the service, and the decor. The dining experience will be different and it won’t break your bank.
Phone subscription package is about 3 to 4 dollar per month at lower end (couple hundred free minute, several Giga data). I preorder a foreign SIM card online (taobao) whenever go abroad.
Great video ,shanghi is amazing and your style of commentary is refreshing compared to a lot of what's on RU-vid. Very interested to see how the rest of your Chinese adventure goes
I watched your video on bilibili, and now I come to RU-vid to watch it for the second time to practice my English 🤣. By the way, many people on bilibili say you are super handsome😂
You're one of the true great travel vloggers on youtube. I watched your videos throughout Southeast Asia, they were all excellent! Your videos have a visually aesthetic quality to them, and you tell a good story. Keep up the good work!
I think your videos of Shanghai are awesome. You include the sounds of the people and your views of the buildings by walking down streets are nicely showcased to bring out the best live views.....your attitude reflects appreciation good architecture and culture. Shanghai seems to be where the east met the west and had a dance. Never been there myself, but your video took us there.
28:56 Chinese Evs are much better than Tesla and it’s honestly not even close. China has a monopoly on EVs with a very competitive domestic market so it shouldn’t be surprising Also do check out other Chinese cities and you will see the modernization is consistent throughout the whole country
he 7 most worthwhile cities to visit in China: Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, hangzhou,Chengdu, Xi'an, Chongqing. The 7 most worthwhile natural scenic spots to visit in China: Jiuzhaigou, Lugu Lake, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Huangshan mountain, Guilin Landscape, Zhangjiajie, Sanya
Thank you for this informative walking tour of SHA city. It's interesting, the car free streets, european style buildings and endless shops rarely seen views of the inner city,, e,tc,
@@charlesdiputado28 nope tokyo is nothing compared to SHANGHAI, GUANGZHOU, BEIJING, CHONGQING, SHENZHEN, HANGZHOU, WUHAN, ECT. Very futuristic and advanced cities.
Great video, Dany! Your perspective on Shanghai was fantastic. If you haven’t already, you should definitely visit Yunnan. The natural beauty and rich culture there are incredible. Keep up the amazing work!
Well done on the video! Did you do the drone shots too? I'd have been scared to fly my drone there! I visited 11 years ago and things look pretty much the same. The skyline across the river is changed a little bit but everything looks just the same. Nanjing Road East is, indeed, exciting at all times. I hope you were able to take the ferry across to the other side since it's well worthwhile and quite a contrast.
Welcome to.China! And next time before you get on the plane to China, get a esim set up on your phone so you will have internet once you land and Google works. And you should use Apple maps instead of Google Maps in China. Hope that helps:)
Nanjing road only reflects 1% of the scale of the city in terms of modern landscape , you will find lots of super fancy modern shopping areas scattered in the radius of 40kms
Never buy sim in the airport. Those are like 10 times more expensive compare to the regular price out in the city.... Just have a esim active ready for like 24hrs upon arrival to get you into the city and get a sim card there. Chinese usually just pay 50 Yuan which is around 7 USD per month for a pretty good amount of call/text/data combo.
I lived in Shanghai for a few years and just wanted to say I would not recommend trying to get a sim card outside of the airport - it's dang near impossible as you'll need to get a plan which requires a Shanghai address, connecting it to your passport, and a whole bunch of other stuff that would have you spending an entire day with the phone company So even though the airport pricing is criminal there isn't really another option for tourists 🙃
I miss traveling in China, especially Shanghai. Whenever I visit China, I make sure to stay there, whether upon arrival or before departing back to Manila for business trips, to visit the factories of our partner suppliers.
If you like soup, you can go to Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. There are a lot of good soup, which is packed in crock pots. And it's affordable to make you want to stay.😊😊😊
