Great Athletes are nothing without coaching and discipline. Both teams have great athletes. It is my belief that the players from ESL had the overall athletic advantage. The Creekside athletes are disciplined, united, and followed the coaches great game plan. Creekside obviously watched the Cary-Grove v ESL from 2021.

South Fulton puts more players in the league than most places in the country. The Metro Atlanta area always been known for having athletes. This is where Eric Berry and Cam Newton came from. I moved from Ohio and finished playing HS ball at the Swamp at Creekside… it was a HUGE difference.

I’ve been rooting for ESL against their OOS competition and actually thought they were gonna win this game. They should’ve, but the Georgia team was more discipline and executed better. But, since you have falsely judged me, yeah it can be over with.

I'll say it again, it's A LOT of unranked yet good football teams in the south that will either beat or play tough top ranked teams from anywhere else... in this case you see Creekside proving that by BEATING the #25 team in the nation. It's different in the South!

@@LUVSTAAA That’s why when teams in the west come down south or play teams from there they smack em. Losing southern teams in this list had an avg like 7-14 pts except one. While winning team had 40-50. BG vs Cedar Hill MD vs Duncanville SJB vs Miami Central SJB vs Allen Bishop Amat vs Aledo Jserra vs Milton Keep in mind that these are just a few games and about 2-3 of those games the team from the south was the previous year state champion or runner up while the team from the west didn’t even make top 5.

@@andyodvor2927 I mean when you have open enrollment for a high school then of course you’re going to have more talent. Saint John Bosco is basically a college where there is no zoning involved. Most if not all schools in the south can only have players bound in there school zone. Keep that in mind. It’s a reason most athletes come out of the south and that only proves itself at the college level. Cali is ok but they aren’t truly great given the fact that players get to choose where they want to play

Who can truly play their best playing “you southern bums.” True competitors want to play the best. If they win, they keep grinding. If they lose, they grind harder. That “you southern bums” energy, was the same energy East St Louis brought to the field. You saw what happened right. They were ranked #25 in the nation. Creekside is now #35 in GA after beating them. But none of that mattered. I have nothing but respect for the top Cali programs. I look forward to the day when they jump on a plane and come down south. Gonna be a damn good, that will be won on the field.

They only won by 2. East dropped numerous TD and other passes. East play the top 10 schools nationally and compete 4Sho. The national prep writer say without a doubt ESL football is consider one of the best prep football programs. East Saint football is different

@@GMan59ESL dominant? Like I said consider the competition. I remember one of those dominate teams playing Muskogee, OK home and home first year at Muskogee East St Louis won 35 - 27. Muskogee lost the next week 42 - 6 to Tulsa Union and finished 5 - 6. East St Louis went undefeated running scores up on all the teams they played in Illinois. The next year the game was in Illinois Muskogee won 22 - 0 finished 9 -3. As unusual East St Louis won the rest of their games won the title in Illinois while again running up scores except for the one they lost where they didn't score . Now dont get me wrong East St Louis had a good team this year but they don't have to deal with teams at home that are as strong as the teams in Georgia.

It's always funny to me the people always say "oh such and such cam in here thinking they were going to run over or stomp on team A or team B". when you have no idea as to what the team was actually thinking, how they prepared etc? Why can't a team just lose to a team that was better on that particular day. Creekside was nationally ranked then even after 2 losses before that game and finished 10-3 and 2 games away from state, losing to the eventual champs by a FG in OT. THEN just to come back in the spring game and beat the defending state champs. And we’re #90 in Maxpreps Top 100 right now this season about to play #1 Mater Dei… Creekside was no pushover in the slightest at any point. Even being 0-2 at that point.

We Mid ?? We done beat Langston two years in a row in a spring game. It don’t count but if we played them in the regular season we definitely ranked top 25 team in the country and a top 10 team in the state. We beat East St.Louis last year and we beat Grayson the season before last on they turf. Also we played Dutch Fork from South Carolina who’s a good team we fell short a couple points but we up there. An this year we play Mater Dei in Cali we gone beat them and shock the nation. So keep callin us mid 🤫

Come to East Saint with noise and you have to get on the bus back to the South with you feeling hurt. Weak ass 2 point victory and you act like you did something. These teams mirror each other, big o lines, speed, but the team that makes the least mistakes always win. I'm real familiar with East Side coming from the Lou. They just destroyed one of the best teams from my side (61-19), but this team really matched up well.

How did ESL lose to that team in GA that's rank 73rd in their state and lost their previous games. ESL had the game against the #3 SFA, but again stupid mistake cost them the game along having issues long snapping the ball. The only good thing from that game was their physicality and national ranking jumping from #57 to #25. The ESL destroy the #1 team in MO and St. Louis. So how again was the game so difficult. Supposedly one of the largest offensive line I prep football. With that said, how come they are not blowing people off the line and the running backs should have exceptional yardage. The receivers are not too ESL football standards. No more Domic Lovette, Jeff Thomas or Luther Burden 😢. The talent is there, but lacking in focus of effort and assumptions. ESL have to rethink the remainder of the season and not claiming the state title. Chicago will be ready and have proof how to beat a teal that's more athletic and talented. The bottom line ESL is a superb athletic city. Pound for pound ESL is second to no one. We competed with high seeded national ranked teams, even the ones that are hybrid by soliciting 4 and 5 star athletes from across the country. Then factor in large cities with several hundred thousands population. These cities have deeper pool of athletes to select from. ESL is a city less than 28k peoples, so with that said we still can compete and impose our will the majority of the time. 89 Blocks 💪

Fairburn ga got 15000 people and in two school In the state both top 100 in the nation creekside 82 and the other Fairburn team Langston Hughes 28 in the nation 2nd in Georgia don’t sleep on Fairburn or Georgia talent

For starters, Georgia don’t recruit out of state talent nor do they have a larger pool to pick from. Creekside is in Fairburn Ga, which have a smaller population than Esl. The crazy thing about Georgia highschool football is the competition level. A mid tier school can beat a top team in Georgia any week. Georgia not only have athletes, but they are discipline and understand the sport, weight training, some of these highschools are like college campuses, parents are spending a lot of money to ensure the players are good, and the coaches are good. So yeah Georgia is bigger but if you place this team in Georgia they’d maybe be a playoff team depending on division. Georgia ball is really good. If they would’ve played a top team in Georgia like Buford, Grayson, North Cobb, Mill Creek, Carrollton, Colquitt, Hughes or Valdosta. It would’ve been a massacre
