You can feed off of "Mother" all day, but go back a few steps and listen to something called "The Birthing" from the Samhain album 'Descent'. Holy shit. Power sent from the Gods in that song.
@@skincarver1797 It's certainly more suited to how his voice is now. He has a lot of trouble holding notes long, but that staccato stuff hits like a pile of bricks.

Danzig 1-4 are pure masterpieces. Sad I never got to see that band lineup. Love the other Danzig albums, Misfits, Samhain as well, just have to cherry pick the tracks.
Thank you for giving decent interviews for our artists. Punk is the only genre that ruthlessly picks apart what few durable artists we have left, on these media shows. It helps the rappers maintain their dominance because neither them or the country scene does that. Country has them way older than Glenn, I think. But they are still treated like gods and not ridiculed and cut down, like in punk.
DANZIG is still one of my favorite bands, I like bands and musicians whose music IMO stands out from the rest and I also got to like the voice of the vocalist to like a band (the original MISFITS band with Glenn Danzig as a frontman from 1977-1983 era was good for that time and the reunion MISFITS band from the 2nd half of the 90's is great)!
Glenn is so fucking talented - great singer/songwriter with a totally distinct style and he also plays multiple instruments. Anyone who talks shit about him is an idiot and an envious loser.

Yeah that Blackest of the Black tour that he mentioned in 2005 was fun. I saw them perform in Rhode Island 👍...crowd went crazy for that misfits stuff 🕸️🕷️🕸️
