To this day I’m still really disappointed that she cut this era so short and her solo career short in 2010. OOoM is such an underrated masterpiece as well as her attempted release with a short film. Yes I know her becoming a mother was the culprit and I am understanding. But I feel the time of it was….such a shame considering the album deserved so much more promotion (she cancelled tour plans which so sooo many places didn’t get to see her). Not to mention the brilliance of the short film.
She's not a metal artist, she's alt rock and pop rock, and she doesn't have a voice for metal. Her voice is like Florence Welch's, indie quiver and airy, not for heavy music
The vocals are actually better than on older live performances i think. Far cry from the album but enough to be enjoyable. But what's up with the backing dudes? They're a bit off me thinks
