I went to a CART race at Michigan Int'l Speedway long ago. A family friend was on Rick Mears' crew so we got to go to pit level. This was not long after the 1981 Indy where there was a pit fire (also Rick Mears) and so everyone was barred from the actual pits. I still stood within arm's reach of A.J. Foyt. Aannddd I just realized neither of you were born. Well hell, It was a very cool experience, and I liked watching your footage of this race. You might have to start an offbeat travel channel.

The Paddock and area (in Las Vegas) was built where I used to live; The Grand Plaza Apartments. They used to take up that entire area. As much as I love, but could never afford, an F1 event, this seems rather befitting, somehow. Although a lot of people lost their homes when Grand Plaza was razed and the lot remained vacant for well over a decade.

The races have only been here for two years but if you get a chance to go go because it’s fun. I’ve not been to the actual race but the qualifying round still so much fun. I do recommend like they did to be out of the sun during the race it gets hot and stays hot. Have fun next year if you go anneaxinn.

For those who do not know the pot full or empty is just for show to attract people it does not make a difference it still pays as it should full or not it's just for show! The full pot does not mean it will give you a jackpot quicker than the empty one the machines are all connected the same, therefore you can win as much seating in an empty pot or full ofcourse full catches peoples attention but it's all the same don't get fooled by it😊

If you noticed....when the "pot" closed for the chance to pick a jackpot the jackpots were counting upwards fast...perhaps by waiting until it counts to a bigger size (like the mini) would be a lot bigger...

I went last year for the qualifying/practice day, was going to the actual race this year through a friend of a friend but didn’t go at the last minute. It was a lot of walking but so fun because as soon as you come into the entrance you are steps away from the fence with cars going over a hundred miles, so fun. The casino was a little ways down the road and so fun also. The first time I went I won 600 bucks on three-card poker but other times I’ve lost 200 bucks now I basically go to root for my friends who know how to play the games. Still love going though to the casino even if it’s just to people watch, shop and the places to eat are fantastic especially the hot pot place Lemongrass across from the casino, I like the spicy ones.

One thing I hate about drums pit bonus is that it's predetermined so it makes picking the coins less fun because it doesn't matter what you pick it's already determined , I wish it was a real choice , you can tell it's predetermined because they don't show you wear the other coins were
