With all due respect, Jamie has a right to earn money from sponsors like many, many diy channels out there, especially as this is his main business/source of income. 99.99% of his videos are extremely budget friendly, so to have a dig at him for this one video, IN MY OPINION, is really out of line. I myself would never buy one of these machines either, but as a diyer, he's showing his subscribers all the options out there from the cheapest to the most expensive. That's a good RU-vidr, just saying ...

I'm a DT shopper too, and I think I could definitely save for one of these. I have wanted a laser engraver for a long time, but they seem complicated. I appreciated this video (not an infomercial). In fact, I know I could use several DT items in this machine.

@@yleal1224 Precisely my point. They wouldn't have given Jamie one and asked him to review it on his channel if they didn't think he was "good enough." And like any new item, the prices reduce eventually. Remember when calculators first came out and cost an absolute fortune 🤣. Like any new technology, over time the price drops as it becomes more popular, and quicker/cheaper to build.

That's a pretty cool machine, but the price is way beyond reach for the occasional crafter, and I can only imagine how costly the materials are for it. Maybe if one sells a bunch of stuff at craft fairs, but even then you'd have to sell a lot of stuff for it to pay for itself.

A cat mom myself I love the cat project you made. Otis is so beautiful. Orange cats are favorite. Although right now my inside cat is black/white and silver.. Her name is Sahara. She's a year old. She was two weeks old when my grandson found her abandoned in a Walmart parking lot.❤❤ I have 3 more cats outside that just showed up at my door. Joey, Skippy and Caley. Love cats.❤❤

It looks sooo cool, as does the X-Tool and the new Cricut Venture. But unless you have a business, I think the price point is too high for hobby crafters. I could afford one, but I couldn't justify the cost because I'm just a casual crafter. So, cool tools, but no thanks.

The "Pro" version is $6,495! It could be used to start a business though for an industrious crafter. If I were young again and not sick I'd consider getting one to make profit from. Very impressive machine!

Really good machine; however, you need a serious wedge of cash to buy it, plus if it's takes 3 hours to produce that's not much fun and I'm too impatient!!! Will be good for someone but not for me. Loved seeing Mr Otis though x
