It’s stuff like this that ruins the hobby, how easily a fight can start. It happened at New Street with the Welsh Marches Whistler tour. People just trying to get photos of this train and this one guy starts shouting at people telling them your going to get in his way, even after we’ve moved out of the way. He even did it to children, and the worst part was he was a guard for Cross Country.

The guy being abused didn't seem that bothered about it at all. It wouldn't have bothered me. He clearly had learning difficulties. What made him kick-off? The 86 looks superb!

This is far more common than most people realise. Cowards are very much given to threatening and abusing the elderly and disabled because they know that they are unlikely to hit back.

His name is William Grassby, but for reasons unknown he calls himself William Hill. He's from Sheffield and let's just say he has quite the reputation round South Yorkshire - but for fear of libel I'm not going to go into details.

It's disgusting how some treat others

There's two sides to every story and we don't know what happened before or after the camera was recording. Even when the camera is recording, most of what happens is out of shot. If/when a video recorded from a different angle is uploaded, we'll see the full story there. Obviously what this man has done is inexcusable but the disabled man doesn't help the situation by shouting and cursing - like I say, you don't know what the disabled man could have done before or after this video. For all we know, the disabled man could have assaulted the "pink shirt guy" off-camera.

Disgusting and when you think people that passion for the world of trains should be more likely to get on. Hope this bloke lands himself a life ban from ever entering the station (or any other) again.

This is why I stay away from railway stations when rail tours are on too many people in the way to get a good photo , its not worth threatening behaviour like this just for a picture of a train

I've been to lots of train events over the years, and i find people very aggressive when it comes to taking pictures or filming.... Long gone are the days with pencil, and note book, sad state of people today.. Hope he gets the book thrown at him,and banned from platform filming!!

In many case of a trainspotter..it is very delicated for him to have a nice catch of a train...but when someone it's rwin it it's not that so good.
