You can not give his Royal right away. Did you stop his.late father from ascending the throne because he married a Yoruba woman? Alright Then , They are both Nigerians. Speeches like yours divide Nigeria the more hiding under the guise of Traditional beliefs. You talk about Britain. Two different issues. Non comparable. At all in all ramifications. Prince Harry is chanting his mother's cause. He married an American not a Briton. What are you talking about? God has put this Olu of Warri on this stool. Celebrate with him. Instead of joining hands with his uncle's son to steal the throne for him.
This is the first unbiased piece I have heard. Everything I hear from other people is that Chief Ayiri messed up but they never seem to have an explanation of how he messed up. Nigerians stop putting sentiments first. God bless warri kingdom. God bless Nigeria.
There seems to be more than what Ayiri is saying. Everyone cook up reasons to justify what he wants. One salient point here is that Tsola was disqualified in favor of his uncle who now is late. Since those involved successfully edged Tsola out then by using an edict which is subordinate to the constitution that says an individual should not be denied of his or rights, Ayiri's argument here doesn't hold any ground. I suspect that he's not in support of Olu Designate now because it exposes a past "mistake" made by them by relying on an "absurd edict." Ayiri' reference to Buckinham Palace is another absurdity as there's no correlation to it in this case at all. Even his reference to military procedure on an ex-officer standing for an election is merely for the sake of argument. In my opinion, he needs to swallow his pride and find a way to flow with what God has ordained,as it's obvious that the choice of the new Olu is God ordained and anyone fighting it will find himself fighting against God and we all know that no one fights against God and wins.
