To me, the worst thing in sports is to cheat. But in this game, by the look of it, you can rely on the officials to cheat on your behalf if you're not Caitlin Clark. It beats me that she remained stoic in the face of it and didn't call anyone out. Now I'm torn. Caitlin has done all she can to raise the game, so to turn my back on it until next year seems to be a bit of a betrayal. But then again, the WNBA needs to feel what's coming or they won't change. My feeling is that they will dig in so as not to lose face, even If that means losing the league as a whole. The whole management system, the refereeing system, and the media whose whole reason for being is to promote anyone that's black, gay and racist. It seems that you can apply whatever name or slur to Caitlin that you like, if you're black and gay, but if Caitlin applied the same rule to you there would be screaming indignation and condemnation from everyone and their uncle. Caitlin would be welcomed all over the world, and appreciated for her worth with no trouble, as would the few that stood by her. The rest of them should be left to fade into history. I will always follow Caitlin wherever she goes, but until next year at least, I'm done with it.
