I blame DA Rourke for screwing up this whole case. His colossal screw up is why Rourke came out and tried to shame all the "armchair detectives" on RU-vid for keeping this investigation going. a timeline I would like to see is Nichols messages to Chris VS Shananns FB posts. NK claims to have not known Shanann was pregnant, yet we know she was watching Shananns Facebook. I wonder if NKs fights or snide comments to Chris line up in any way with Shananns posts. If Shanann for example, was saying something like "I have such a great husband" on Saturday the 7th . Can we line that up with any arguments NK may have had with Chris on Saturday the 7th that correspond to Shananns posts. I have been listening to another creators channel at Savage Truth. I really like her because she is very plain speaking and direct (however, there is some potty mouth, so if someone is sensitive to that you probably shouldn't listen). She talks about some threads that have been on Reddit and according to many people, NK had had sex with many guys at Anadarko, and they felt sorry for Chris when he'd talk in glowing terms about he and NK. I could see her doing that because I had a nearly life destroying experience several years ago with a pathologically lying malignant narcissist (not sexual) who was what I call a "dirt collector". Since I had that experience I have studied narcissism of various types extensively (the hardest type to identify are covert narcissists which in my opinion Chris is a covert narc), and I have found that people like NK can be very charming, they often come off as down to earth, easy going, and somewhat sexual. Based on that, it wouldn't surprise me if she'd snagged various men at Anadarko as part of her dirt collecting so she would have stuff to blackmail and threaten them with (especially the married men) if they talked about things, to keep them from outting her to Chris, etc. People like her have no conscience, and quite frankly, Chris having trouble performing sexually I feel may have been because NKs true colors were coming out, he was getting cold feet on leaving his wife and kids (not because he loved them, but because they were familiar and comfortable, and far different than his walk on the down, dirty, kinky, nasty wild side with NK), and she was threatening to out him publicly, to his wife, to his friends, to his employer (she would of course be playing the victim of Chris), and being a covert narcissist who has worn the mask of "the nice guy" his entire life, that would make him react like a caged animal.
I believe everyone at Anadarko was aware of their affair. The Anadarko manager told the FBI about her and she was fired after he confessed. There was a girl that only worked there for 3 days and learned the gossip. She does several videos on it. NK would pick him up in the field, and all his coworkers saw this. There were cameras everywhere. They didn't hide it. NK was also having an affair with someone else in the company

I read a lot of this about 5-6 years ago but forgot about a lot as well. I don’t this EVER registered with me that Shanann reassured Bella that she would “always come back home” when she left for Arizona-but she didn’t. She may have walked in that front door but she didn’t “come home” and she certainly didn’t see her girls ever again. That poor little girl was terrified something would take her precious Mommy away from her and it actually happened. And the enemy MONSTER was there the whole time waiting in the shadows to pounce when he should have protected them! That’s so heartbreaking. The only solace is they are all together now in heaven but those girls would be about 10 and 8 now and Nico 5. Shannan would probably already be married again to somebody else who would have been a much better husband and step father to the kids and she’d be doing some kind of job successfully. He took that all away because of some pathetic ugly woman who has no soul and can’t even stand a few minutes alone by herself and in her head without calling someone to escape her sickening personality. She is obviously disgusting on the inside and I sure hope she’s happy with herself and how she destroyed the lives of this family but also her own. They are all suffering from mental stress from her choices and selfishness when she just could have walked away from him after he flew to NC. Ended it there. She KNEW he was by all accounts happily married because she even says it herself in that initial email to him how she wanted to “create a life like he had with his wife”. She COMPLETELY monopolizes the lives of the people in her life like a two year old. And as you can see she was only in Frederick for one time out of all those days and calls. She was there a half hour after he left that driveway-as she was leaving the scene of the horrific crime she couldn’t STAND it to NOT call somebody on her drive to work. Oops! She calls her friends and family at all hours of the night too-like they aren’t sleeping or getting ready for work at 5 -6 am. She’s so pathetic.
DA Rourke should of done his job right,, The DA needed CW to pled guilty to save NK ass and stop the investigation, l wish we could get a new DA in office to reopen the case or have the others investigated....If it was my daughter and grandchildren and if l felt there were more involved l would be raising my voice with the law thats for sure!!

I think that Chris was playing both ends in the middle. When he told Shanann that his mom screwed up he was telling her what she wanted to hear. When he went to his mother and the rest of his family I think he made Shanann out to sound like a nut case. In essence, it seems, that he just told. everyone exactly what they wanted to hear.

D.A Rourke stated "you don't always get all people involved" (not verbatim) and also that NK would not be looked into. He also asked that people stop requesting he reopen the files and investigate NK and stop messaging him and the police. I along with most advocates of interrogate NK are resigned to the fact that it will never happen unless a newly elected D.A decides to do so. Tragic and sad imo.
Inexperienced country town cops. Although I've heard some people say that they did a good job in some interviews. Maybe with CW. Not with NK though. Classic textbook techniques. So the investigation wasn't all bad. It's just corruption and politics have reared their ugly heads and got in the way of justice. A couple of the investigators had nervous breakdowns afterward. SW’s office top to bottom was a huge mess. Seemed strange bc the rest of the house was immaculate. One of many scenarios I’ve heard re mess was NK was the clean up person and when they couldn’t find the code to her phone NK tore SW’s office up looking for it. In their minds this was to answer texts from ppl contacting Shannan to keep ppl at bay until the dirty deed was done. Shannan had changed the code to baby boy Nico’s birth arrival and the only person who knew it was her friend Nicole Atkinson.

The mistress could have easily hidden surveillance within their family home. Many small wireless cams have the ability for 2 way talk. i think its HER distant + distinct childlike giggle heard during the K9 search and other voices heard. She would have had the abiltiy to record the voices of the children and play them back. She could have used her black magic trick to gaslight chris as well following the search where he is interviewed stating he was going to stay w/ friends eluding to the house being haunted. Its also how she could keep tabs on the investigation. Such a simple but overlooked method of stalking, control, deception + gaslighting that could drive a person mad.

I know from Experience being hooked on opioids and a BF who got me hooked on them, I thought he was the love of my life and couldn’t stand to be away from him when really it was the drugs and using together that made me think that way and he was able to get me to do anything he said with the threats of cutting me off and leaving.
