Beautiful twist i must say. I am in my 2nd month into the hair growth challenge and will be taking it down by next month. Trust me i have seen good growth from this. Not a mini twist though, just a normal size twist, i apply Chebe powder every 4 days and growth has been amazing. Will take down by next month, wash, deep condition and twist again then go another 3 months. Can’t wait to get to waist length 😂 new subscriber here by the way ❤

Thank you You can start with braided roots although if you make the twists this small, starting with braids will make the work tedious. You can also practice starting each twist with tighter grip
I began the twists journey on August 2020 but it hasn't grown only volume even after following all the rules, cloves,rosemary,rice water,onion juice.No change.Cloves , rosemary and henna almost destroyed my hair.
You need to pick one thing and use extensively. Not multiple things frequently.. also, maybe your hair and scalp react to some of the recipes so you will need to do patch tests at the back of your hair before using something all over your head. Another option will be to switch back to factory-made hair products lab-formulated for natural hair. Sorry about your setbacks
You had protein overload. The rice water has TOO MUCH protein. You only need the cloves/rosemary water once or twice a week, then seal your hair with your favorite oil or your favorite hair grease. ESPECIALLY the ends. Then put your hair up. On your wash day, after you shampoo your hair, do a deep hair conditioner. Then do the LCO. If your hair still dries out, then do the rosemary/cloves only as a hair rise on your wash day. I can use it 2x a week, but my sister can only use it as a hair raise on her wash days. We wash our hair every 2 weeks. Depending on your scalp, maybe once a week or every 2 weeks or once a month. You know when to wash it.
I did all this 2 days before after washing. Wanted more volume which is why I twisted dry and no, the twists don’t unravel on dry hair when done correctly
I twist dry too. If you wash good with a good moisturizing deep conditioner and a great leave I. ( I use bio silk 17 miracle leaves in). My hair feels so moisturized I don't need anything additional. Now I will apply something a week later when I moisturize or wash my hair.
