I'm from Moldova and I just wanna say I'm really surprised Ukraine has been able to stand up to Russia for so long. Growing up the premise was that Ukraine is no different than Moldova to an extent, they're just bigger in size. But I actually had no idea just how big. People that have never visited Eastern Europe simply have no idea how crazy it is for Ukraine to hold back Russia. Growing up I thought Russia was this big bear that everyone in the world should fear. I never in a million years would have thought Ukraine would hold against Russian horde. Just crazy. Wars are not what they used to be with drones.

Ukraine didnt even had many drones when the war started. they held the russians back with their will, their remnants of a soviet army (still had a lot of tanks and stuff), and rpg and aa launchers donated from the west. But russias thinking that they could invade such a large country with an expedition army also was just stupid. they completely misjudged the situation. In the first year the biggest donor of equipment to the ukrainians have been the russian army with leftovers from their retreats around the cities.
