Not just person to person love. Anything that you substitute for love as well, like food, drugs or alcohol, and idolatry. The fire and water themes are part of the Bangtan Universe and are repeated throughout their mvs. The behind the scenes for this mv is outstanding. They built the bloody sets. 😘💜🫶🏻🫰🏻

They talked about this record (Love Yourself Tear) in BTS Monuments (docu-series) and how it was written during a time in their career where their demand skyrocketed after their 1st BBMA and at the same time they were deep in burnout and even considering disbanding - Fake Love is written from their perspective of not being able to be honest with their fans with how they were feeling. They felt they had to pretend to be okay and to show up how they thought their fans wanted/needed them to. Of course they always right in a universal way, but that was what was going on. From the same album there's also Seesaw (Suga solo) which sounds like it's about a couple knowing it's time to break-up but not wanting to be the one who does it - which Suga also described their situation back then, no one wanted to be "the bad guy" and end BTS and there's also Outro: Tear which sounds like a gut wrenching break up song, but the guys have told us that it was also written from this experience of coming close to ending their professional relationship - but as we know they are brothers so it runs a lot deeper than that for them.

Watching and reading lyrics at the same time doesn't usually work well for BTS MV's. Some reactors watch the video first without subtitles then watch it again to focus on the subtitles so as to better connect the visuals to the lyrics. ARMY's would love watching the video twice and watch you react twice.

I enjoyed your reaction. It can be hard to take in the BTS videos as well as read the subtitles, as there is often so much to take in. I usually watch it through and then again to read the subtitles. Also, I enjoyed your clip at the end. You have a nice voice 💜

Loved your reaction. A lot of the mvs have a behind the scenes. They also have color coded lyrics. Some reactors use the color coded lyrics and then watch the mv or the dance practices then mv or the other way around. Army will watch because it is a lot to take in with all their visuals. You can even throw in a live with all of that. Army will watch. A mv that was taken down for a while is On performed at Grand Central Station for the Jimmy Fallon show. Epic. On Kinetic Manifesto, Black Swan are all epic. Others J Hope More and Arson. I recommend the mv then the lives. Watch in that order. J Hope performs in that order. Of course Suga Trilogy: Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala then there is Snooze from him as well, the list goes on and on. RM new album, plus the other members solo work. Jin is being released in a week, Astronaut mv, and live performed at Coldplay concert get the one where Chris Martin introduces Jin and the story behind the song. Also, Serendipity performed by Jin. With Kpop songs I would suggest you look up the lyrics FIRST & read them, then watch the the MV. Most Kpop MV's are really eye catching, specially BTS & Blackapink. Their lyrics aren't direct, & the 2nd meaning behind those lyrics are shown in the MV. You WILL become overwhelmed with the beauty & artistry of it all😅. I absolutely love BTS & BLACKPINK MV's & songs. Kings & Queens of Kpop for a reason.

Although all art is subjective, Fake Love reminds me of '"online Fake Love", as represented by the cellphones next to V and the floating hearts from Jungkook. BTS songs are fun to interpret, or watch an explanation on DKDKTV channel. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜OT7 FESTA 2024 and Jin are coming soon ARMY!!😃
