@@euniceshalom It's the Bantus who relate with South Africans. Kenya has Nilotes and Nilotes relate more with West Africans. The Luos in Kenya really resemble West Africans & the Maasai relate more with Fulanis. Also Indians aren't a tribe in Kenya. Kenyan tribes are only 42 coded to specific regions in Kenya & cannot be added or reduced. Indians come from none of this regions because they are from India not Africa . For instance Luos are native to Nyanza region, Kikuyus Mt.Kenya, Kambas Ukambani, Maasai Narok...etc there is no region where Indians hail from in kenya

@@nairobinyeusi5811 You are wrong. They were acknowledged as the 47th tribe officially. In terms of migration, they have as long a record of migration into Kenya as have, for example the secondary Bantu migration from Central Africa. The worlds of the ocean made this possible through trade and exchanges. Those Lamu doors we love were co-crafted with Gujarat craftsmen as a matter of routine, our coastal nations treated other port cities as next-door villages. Migration from India does not start with the British, they just exploited something that already existed.

Well I'm a South African and I don't think anybody is ganging up against Nigeria and I don't know what made you think so. Kenyans are the most chilled people I know on this continent, while South Africans may not be fond of Nigerians simply because of immigration issues in our country. South Africans have zero tolerance and patience for people who disregard their laws or even have aggressive attitudes which most Nigerians we come across tend to have. It's not that deep honestly, if you're a good person then you will be welcomed and if you're not then the story will not end well for you. This is a tiring subject and I'm tired of people playing the victim and not being accountable to how they conduct themselves in host countries. Perhaps a little introspection as to why the whole world keeps complaining about Nigerians would help you to realise something and self-correct. You can't be having all these countries complain about you, in spite of some of your countrymen who actually have good intentions and are well behaved. As for similarities with Kenyans, yes there are quite plenty of them and it may be due to the Bantu lineage you're alluding to. We have Bantu tribes in South Africa such as the Zulus, Xhosas, Swatis, Ndebeles, Sothos, Tswanas, Pedis etc whom fall under the Bantu speaking branch in Africa and you will even notice the similarities between languages of the abovementioned ethnic groups to that of Swahili. We also share similar cuisine like ugali which is almost like pap in South Africa. Even our beadwork accessories are almost alike. The mannerisms are quite the same too, which I have noticed from Kenyans and South Africans both in person and on social media. I could go on the whole day. Kenya is literally my favourite country in Africa, apart from my own country of course and I even love their movies more than I love that of Nollywood. Don't get me wrong I love Nollywood and grew up watching it but I'm just naturally drawn more towards Kenyan storytelling and when watching Country Queen, I felt like it was something made right here at home in SA. No hard feelings Eunice, Nigerians are great and I also love many of their cultures but I just gel with Kenyans better. Plus Swahili is one hell of a dope language and who doesn't love Sauti Sol? Lol. I doubt Kenyans gang up on Nigerians. No, if anything it could be the other way around. Kenyans are respectful and humble. You can even learn of their soft and relaxed nature in their beautiful melodies....they make the best music. I'm listening to "Sundays in Nairobi" by Billy Black while writing this. 🇿🇦❤️🇰🇪 Take care :)

Kenyans are honest and humble. They are smart and collaborate easily. I have never seen a Kenyan who bulldoze his way in South Africa to make a living with whatever means. They understand us so well and wish us good. You never hear a Kenyans saying South Africans are lazy uneducated barbarians. As for Nigerians, I am trying so hard to love these people. I've even dated a few but the way they are so full of pride and disrespectful, I get put off. However there are many other Nigerians who are humble and honest loving people. I believe these are some of the generalised misconceptions that are bandied around. Even in a family there are differences of personal characters so what about a community, tribe, nation? It is illogical to imagine that 180 million people will behave a certain way. In every group of people you will find the good the bad and the ugly . That's what life is diversity and if we were ro open our eyes to it we will see a lot of beauty as opposed to seeing only negative issues

As a Kenyan living in SA I agree with most things and most people here. I definitely feel at home in SA and we have many things in common. Just to highlight 1. Weather patterns more or less the same just the winter in SA is a real winter of lows of 1 or even negative. 2. Food is more or less the same varities and prepared in similar fashion. I miss chapatis and mandazis from home though. I dont carry maize flour anymore I have all I need in SA for my ugali/ pap. 4. SA accent is easy to understand. They are so polite and a sophisticated posh society easy to just adjust and enjoy the country and people. 5. Infrastructure is way over the top in SA. We are coming up well in Kenya but have many years to catch up to be at SA level. 6. Health SA is number 1 in Africa on that and everything else though home Kenya is still best to me. 7. As for Nigerians these our brothers you cannot compeletely ignore them they have big personalities they are gifted have produced serious professionals and innovators, they lead in music and movies, dressing, strong sense of culture. But I don't mingle with them and I have no plans to live in Nigeria. SA anyday anytime.

Your analysis is very correct. Ethnically, culturally and through bloodlines Kenyans are very close to South Africans as they all constitute the eastern arm of Bantu people migration from the Biafra(Igbo) and Southern Cameroon. We all speak the upper Niger Benue bantu languages. As a Kenyan, when I visited South Africa and traveled around I just eased in. When South Africans speak in Zulu, Xhosa, Limpopo languages (Listen to Sho madjozi, Mariam Makeba, Ivonne Chaka Chaka and many others...music, we have similar dialects). I do understand their tongue to almost 70% of what they say. In fact whenever I visit any home in South Africa I feel like iam in Kakamega, western Kenyan town. We drink umqomboti(Busaa) the African beer that Ivonne Chaka Chaka composed in one of her songs. Anyway sister don't worry we are all Africans, from the same family, my best friend and buddy in the USA here is a Nigerian from Yoruba but also have friends from Igbo, Fulani and Hausa. I have been in Nigeria but I don't like the differences that are created among these top three major tribes in Nigeria. I love the people in Cross river state-Nigeria, they even offered me land and a wife. Let us love 💘ourselves, we are all Afrikans with Ethiopia/Addis Ababa or Filifiniti us our headquarters. Both Kenya & SA have beautiful wildlife. The famous Maasai mara in Ke and krugger in SA which are worldwide recognized as best Safari destinations. 4) Nigerians are proud people, they bragg alot and tend to look down on other Africans over a small gains they will rub it into your face until you recognize them. Therefore we tend to relate more with SA than Ng. 5) Crime. Most Kenyans feel that majority of Nigerians in Kenya enter illegaly and engage in crime for money. Child trafficking, drugs, money laundering and such vices. They are always arrested, even in our airports Nigerians are more suspected more than any other Africans because they are more likely to be involved in crime. Kenya is more relatable to South Africa culturally. We are majority Bantu countries. Cultural ties run deep. Its easier to adjust to each others' ways and mannerisms, cuisines, language and practices. My Tribe, the Luhya, we have cultural circumsicion practices very similar to those of the Xhosa people. The Zulu language sounds very easy for me as a Luhya man to learn, I already understand some of it without even learning it. And before we even heard about Nollywood and Afrobeat music, we already had lots of South African Kwaito and Congolese Rhumba on our radio stations and in the clubs. Now, we can always find ways to relate to each other as Africans from all corners of the continent. Kenyans infact, relate with Nigerians better than South Africans relate with Nigerians, Even though we interface better with South Africans compared to Nigerians. There is always a way to accomodate and appreciate each other through learning and understanding.

-Wildlife tourism is relatively the same with the big five in both places and similarities in topography though South Africa is colder. -The two countries love rugby and play cricket in addition to the usual soccer etc. -The two airways; Kenya Airways and South Africa airways have partnered. -Both Jomo Kenyatta and Nelson Mandela were imprisoned and exiled within their own countries for extended periods of time and both ascended to presidency as soon as they were released from captivity. - Actually Bantus originated from west Africa by Benue - cross rivers in Nigeria and spread to sub Sahara Africa. But they seem to have left West Africa completely. The igbo and Yorba come from the same root as bantu but are not bantu. -The brutality they both experienced from their colonizers was quite similar with creation of concentration camps, and eviction from their native lands to create game ranches, farms and parks for the white colonizers, use of ID cards on Africans to travel, segregation, torture, imprisonment, executions and after both attained freedom, plenty of the white colonizers remained and become part of the community. - The presence of Indians was deliberate through importation of low skilled labor by the British to build their respective railways during colonial times and the Indians were subsequently awarded with 2nd class treatment. - Both Kenyans and South Africans think they are Jamaican when high.. 😂😂 -Lastly, east and sub-saharan Africans are generally timid, smaller in stature, polite and value congeniality. On the other hand, people from west Africa can be super aggressive, loud and egocentric. Show me a Nigerian who can whisper and I shall show you the one eyed giant. - Thank you for your videos.

Nigerian shango religion, called sangoma in South Africa is still the religion across the world today, translated as Christianity and lslam today.Nigeria is the true holy land, the world powers knows this but the black race. No matter how fast you run or grow the daddy will always be the daddy and head. Welldone to Kenya, they are doing well....The day Nigeria stop depending on oil alone and activate other aspect of her economy that is laying domant at the moment, from agriculture, mineral resources, human capital, tourism etc Africa will shake easily.Don't forget Nigeria ones dominated in palm oil, cocoa, Rubber etc which will always be in demand. We just need leaders that truly loves the country instead of these muppets destroying her so they can keep enjoying dubai, Europe and America. @@johnmaina8515 That is not true, I am Zulu myself and Kishwahili is now being taught in school though not in large scale or in all schools. We accept Kiswahili. Southern Africans have more in common with East Africans than they do with West Africans.

@@johnmaina8515 a debate does not necessarily mean hostility. On the issue of Zimbabweans in South Africa, what can you say about the gang raping of South African women by the Zama zamas that mostly come from Lesotho ,Mozambique and Zimbabwe?

@@johnmaina8515 thats where you are very wrong. S. Africa even started teaching Swahili long before AU adopted it. Do your research.

@@gedenironald8635 tell him. Have been following and not a single day S. Africans have suggested Zulu (or any of their language) to be made an African language. They were even comparing some Swahili words to their language words.

Apart from what you have mentioned above, another reason why we gag up on Nigeria is drug dealing, false prophecy, human trafficking, prostitution, pride and everything evel. I don't know about the rest of the nationals but this is very common to the ones who have migrated to our countries. Only the academic Nigerias I know personally live a decent life. Personally I wish to visit quite a number of African countries because I love the way they are humble, humane and respectful but Nigeria is not on my wish list
