FINALLY! The Meg "returns to the red carpet" (where's the red carpet?) in one of the most confusing dresses we've seen. Is it supposed to be off the shoulder? Is it supposed to be puddling on the ground? What is happening? And, fun question: Which was worse? The dress or the PINNACLE OF EMBARRASMENT that was the Meg's desperate lingering in front of the cameras past her welcome? Truly, it's a tough call, be sure to leave it in the comments! That rag she wore was driving me insane! I have made clothes since I was a teenager, over 50 years now. I was taught how to alter patterns to fit your specific body type. The model may have worn it off the shoulder in the ad, but that is a fashion advertising shot. The front center bodice seam and back zipper indicate that the dress was DESIGNED to be worn SLIGHTLY off the shoulders, not massively off the shoulder. Otherwise it would not have had a center front bodice seam and the zipper would have been on the side of the dress so it didn't look like she got dressed in the dark!

Also it drives me nuts how she thinks beige should be on its own LMAO I recently started having to buy clothes in only neutral colors because my entire closet was nothing but colors and patterns so nothing went with anything else 😂 so now every new piece I buy has to be in a boring beige or brown or cream or black so that way it will go with one of the colorful pieces I already have! So it gives me more options with my clothes. And I think she is definitely a beige mom. Have you guys seen that video recently where that mom bought her toddler daughter a little plastic Christmas tree and she spray painted the plastic Christmas tree really ugly beige and brown so it went with the rest of her home decor 😂 I immediately thought of Meg when I saw that video 😂 to me neutrals are supposed to make it easier to design your home with color and add color to your home. They aren't just supposed to be on their own in my opinion. They're meant to be accented with color. It's like wearing eyelash glue without wearing any eyelashes!

M has the worst taste in clothes. She continually picks the strangest outfits and then usually wears them wrong. Why ? I know she wears glasses and/or contact lenses but I don’t think she wears either when she picks her ensembles. Such a huge waste of money !

If she had any sense at all, she could and would have still saved herself after that sentence: "... , so we will change some of our usual traditions a tiny bit and opt for LED instead of beewax candles and strawstars instead of glass ornaments for our christmas tree." She would have looked like a thoughtful, maybe slightly overprotective mother with a taste for all things natural and authentic - exactly the image, she wanted to portray and she could have continued with a few more sentences about the colours of their tree or about how to make the strawstars. It is a shame, that she is not as smart as she believes.

I was talking to my hubby about this. He was trying to give the Meg the benefit of the doubt. I laughed. I then showed him the oops of Catherine's. He was appreciative of the lady, princess in red moment. Seriously, Catherine's little wardrobe malfunction was gorgeous. I feel bad that she was embarrassed, but I appreciate the fortitude she displayed. Go Catherine.

It wasn't quite as high as the shorts the Meg wore when leading the soldiers at Invictus Games, but definitely much higher than she intended, especially at a state function.

I thought her at this event truly highlighted the stark difference between her and the actual Women of Power in Hollywood. Also, I've been so distracted by what was going on at the top and bottom of this dress that I have just noticed her black clutch. Her obsession with being photographed is certifiable. Get off the red carpet Meg - they're not there for YOU! The dress was awful even on the model in the shorter version...Markle made it worse. If I were a designer I would have a clause that she is forbidden from wearing my clothes. She has the Sadim (Midas backwards...thanks HG Tudor 😂) touch when it comes to anything she is associated with. Also it wasn't only the assistant trying to push her along....watch the lady in the glasses while Markle is being interviewed throw her a exasperated look as if to say "for the love of God get this woman off the red carpet!".

Proenza Schouler makes nice dresses and it’s hard to imagine they’d intentionally have a center seam askew. This dress worn by Meg looks so horrible I wondered if she was wearing it backwards. I’ve looked at the variations of that dress and I believe it looks best when the seams back and front are straight. The sleeves hang nicely and the neckline is as wide as it can be without slipping off the shoulders looking elegant on the right body. Getting a dress hemmed is not hugely expensive, she should stop being so last-minute and make friends with a seamstress.

By now, Beeb, we'll probably all have seen Catherine at the Royal Albert Hall concert looking stunning in a beautiful blue dress. Smiling genuinely, chatting easily with the performers after the show, and not desperately preening for the cameras. The midi dress she wore to greet the Crown Princess of Sweden and her husband earlier that day was also beautiful. Btw, Prince William looked his usual well-groomed, elegant, and attractive self. They are both classy, classy, classy. 😊

Ok, I’m old (49) & in some ways very traditional. I admire the Royal Family greatly. I’ve grown up with them, obviously not literally! I have never seen a member of the Royal Family “work” the red carpet. Whether they are officially royal or not, she is married to the son of the King, she shouldn’t be on a red carpet like that in my opinion. It just feels tacky and very wrong.

The Meg does okay with cold weather casual looks and beach wear. Everything else is a disaster. She really should just pay someone to dress her and give maybe 1% of her own opinion. It’s just so bad. Her mother has a decent sense of style. She should just let her mom dress her.

Except she dresses for the wrong seasons, heavy coats, sweaters, jackets and scarves in spring & summer and beach dresses, shorts and sandals in fall and winter. And yes, speaking as a Californian, we do get all four seasons here, especially on the coast and the further north from Los Angeles & southern Cal you go. (….though she dresses against the season & weather wherever she is in the world.)

She has morphed into a real life Norma Desmond, hilarious watching her hanging onto her “ moment” ( Sunset Boulevard is one of my all time favourite films, and the musical is also very good). The dress, both the original length and the one she wore, in my view is awful, if the model can’t make it look good, then no one is going to look good in it. The interview was even funnier, who was that crazy demented girl with the Mike, acting as if on speed, head bobbing all over the place😂😂😂, bonkers answers as always, always leaves me wondering what on earth she is babbling on about, what ever her message is, it is not reaching me

The fabric of the lining being a different color just made it look so cheap looking (which is one of her special gifts) - it’s color blocking gone wrong. PS should take notes from Celine on how to do color-blocking the right way. And the zipper on the back just looks so cheap as well like ‘Made in China’ plastic cheap. I believe she never had an outfit that’s tailored because she has to return them the next day. To alter the dress would be considered as bought. 😂 I think that with such a plain outfit, she should have worn bold jewelry (which I’m sure she doesn’t possess). A chunky bejeweled diamond choker and a chunky diamond bracelet or if not those two maybe some statement earrings would’ve made it fitting for the ‘duchess’ title that she never fails to mention like she was born with it and not acquired through marriage ugh 🙄. She ended up just looking like the social-climber that she is IMHO. Cringe indeed.

Thank you for this video Beebs. It was exactly what all of us have been thinking, point by point. The barrage of puff pieces, the oddly insignificant appearances, and leaks about interactions with the Royal family. Yet no deals have been announced by WME and Megan signed with them in April. I agree with you that these tactics often work in the long run, but H&M are their own worst enemies.

My kids are the exact same ages as Archie and Lilly, so I always ask myself how I would answer questions posed to the Meg..... We have already done TONS with our boys, and my husband and I work far more than 1 hour a week each 😂😂

If she had a kindness of any size in her I would feel sorry for her. She has no one to ask how does this look or what do you think? A friend, a family member, an assistant, the girl at Trader Joe’s who hands out soy milk samples…..not one person around to stop her cold. If someone was brave enough to be honest they know that piece of advice would ensure that it would be the last invite or last paycheck from Ms. Markle. That stylist on the black carpet was petrified to approach her. And she had a handbag that costs more than my car so she was not a petite flower. At least she is predictable…in the saddest way possible. I wish someone would ask the bodyguard who worked for Obama about his gold tie. Now that is a style moment I would love to see. ❤️ all your clips Beebs.

The thing is that she has never taken the advice from people who really did have her best interest at heart…the Royal Family comes to mind (when she first got there…not now). She wouldn’t take advice. She knows best! The only time she ever looked good was ,when she was in “Suits.” “Suits” was the first and only show she was ever on. She actually looked nice when she wore the clothes the fashion designers told her to wear for the part. I saw it a few times ( don’t remember her on it), but I have since seen photos or clips off her at the time. Love the part you wrote, “…girl at Trader Joe’s who….” 😂😂😂

Another great video. Thank you, Beebs. I think you hit the nail on the head calling H&M undignified - I sat with my toes curled in rigid cringe mode at Meghan’s behaviour on the red carpet. I don’t understand how she can be so oblivious to what is going on around her. I wonder if she went home after this awful showing off and patted herself on the back, thinking how well she had done. Suggesting she read the room would be a total waste of breath.

I read a comment by a former model who claimed that the dress was to have the seam in the center. She claimed it was worn incorrectly 🙄 He Christmas answer. As cringe worthy as the almost push off the runway. Disaster all around.
