If Mark is telling you that this might the best fish he’s ever eaten than you know it must be incredible. The idea that a You Tube following can enable a genuine foodie to experience these culinary wonders is amazing. Mark is so good at describing every aspect of the experience and my mouth literally waters as I see his genuine reactions to great food. I’m not familiar with the New England wing man and his channel, but hats off to him to be able to travel the world in search of incredible food.
Spain is the best country in the world to enjoy many types of variety food... from the best meat to the best seafood, Spain has as well many of the top chefs in the world and awesome landscapes... so it's an amazing combination and we are really glad you are showing some of these examples to the world. Galicia is a seafood treasure in Spain, you can eat best seafood in the world and prices are not very expensive... is a MUST GO place, and if you want to have even a deeper experience you need to do the Pelegrim walk to Santiago for 5 days at least, then you will became already almost another Spaniard 😊
I love how delusional people proclaim their country to be the best, when they have never visited every single country on this earth. Pathetic to the core.
He is the only RU-vidr I have seen that has never said a bad word to anyone never swore or even said a bad thing to haters even when they watch his videos and hate he just kept doing what his doing genuinely Amazing how he has built his fan base organically. It’s been a pleasure to watch his channel grow. God bless you
unfortunately USA is influenced by Italy and France, Spain specially the North is by far the food meca in Europe and top 2 or 3 world wide, this was even told by Anthony Bourdain ( RIP), watch out for the episode in San Sebastian ( should come in next days), it is the real heaven on earth of food
I love Mark, but I also love his friend Jeffrey! He has the best laugh/giggle when he experiences food. I liken this to Mark's "lean of pleasure". Both are such fun to watch. The more they laugh and lean, the more they are enjoying the food. I so enjoy experiencing all the food and cultures through these vides. THANK YOU!!
All I got to say is mad respect to the chef the chef is in the kitchen slicing the shrimp and cooking up the clams and like a professional mad respect to this gentleman you better respect the chef Mark wiens is the best for showing inspirational food like this around the world millions of people watching Big ups mad respect respect the chef
Here is the difference between the French and the Spanish kitchen. The French one is big show and some quality , but the Spanish is great product and fantastic quality together with passion and kindness, which I totally miss in France.....Come on, come and visit Galicia!!!
@@lukugogo Im spanish and I think you have to give credit to French cuisine, nobody talks about it these days, but the French have contributed so much to gastronomy. That being said, Spanish gastronomy is number one today and has been for the last 10-15 years
Yes, but is pricey, this type of restaurants, like D'Berto or Etxebarri. It's not like going to China or Korea for street food. Unless you go for pinchos/tapas, for sure. But Mark is getting a good advice to the top places to go. Anyways, if you are not in a budget, you can have incredible experiences anyways, without paying 200€ per meal. If you are in the budget, you have to be picky, but will work good anyways, believe me. Avoid scams in the touristic places, and don't try to eat stuff outside of their original region unless you go for specific specialized restaurants.
@@juanantonio3487 Spanish food is not pricey at all, of course its pricey going to a michellin star restaurant. Which other country can offer a 15-20 € menu of the day with high quality food where u get a starter a main course and a dessert in a restaurant? and which other country literally gives you food for free like tapas in some parts of Spain?
No.
Galicia and Asturias Calidade 🥰 So fortunate to live here and have the chance to enjoy this dishes often. We are small and humble, but we know our products 😊
This Spanish food tour, is arguably the best Mark has ever filmed. So professional, no wonder he's the king of the foodies! I haven't seen Ying lately, or perhaps I'm too engrossed in the food to notice!
No Torta De Santiago or Caldo Gallego? You missed two stellar Galician foods. I know this was a seafood tour but I hope you do other foods of the North West of Spain. Fabada Asturiana is a must try dish. Cachopo is another must try. There is so much more in those 3 regions. Galicia, Cantabria and Asturias are probably the most beautiful parts of Spain. This coming from someone born in Sevilla.
Hi Mark, my name is Patrice and I was born in Mauritius, I really enjoy your videos as I am also a full on lover of all different foods. I live in Australia now but I go back home every couple of years. The food in Mauritius is extraordinary with cultures like Creole, Chinese, African, French and others. Would you consider doing an episode there. I miss the food there constantly, but I do try to have some in Oz, however it is never the same cos Australia does not have the same type of ingredients as Mauritius. Anyways, love your channel, really enjoy watching you sampling the delicacies from around the world and I love your Thai episodes as I truly believe that the Thais are some of the most friendliest and most nicest people in the world. I have been there a few times and have never regretted any visit, they are the the best people and have the most fantastic food. Stay safe.
Welcome to Spain again. We were waiting so long. Greetings from Valencia. Hope you enjoy our gastronomy and open arms people. We follow your trips for so long, and brings your happines to our living room. You are our friend, although you don't know.
Amazing food, I love how Mark and Jeffrey enjoy the entire experience of the meal they are eating, they not only gobble down the food, they actually respect the process and the source ingredients. I'm enjoying it vicariously....keep these wonderful adventures coming. 🥰
Big Eye Sea Bream is considered a delicacy in Japan as well. I believe we also grill, but more commonly it’s braised in sauce. We would see the first one in the vid too large, but presumably it’s a slightly different specie. Would love to try these dishes in Spain. Haven’t been there for so long...
Japan and Spanish cuisine have a lot of similarities even though it might not seem so at first glance. Specially when it comes to seafood. In fact, Tuna is probably in its best state when it crosses the strait of Gibraltar and gets in the mediterranean through the Spanish coast and to the Balearic Islands in its migratory process. Thats why many of the best Tuna in Japan is actually Spanish (or rather, fished in Spain), and the best pieces always get shipped there. Its also two of the few countries that have a love for sea urchins and other sea delicacys that other countries dont even eat.
Oh Mark that was a epic video. You could really see how the Sea Bree and potato melded together, the potatoes absorbing the fish oil,and high end olive oil.I wanted to taste that dish so much!!🇨🇦☕️
Galicia Spain ,Absolutely Breath taking and the seafood WOW.. I love empanadas. MARK YOUR TRAVELS FOR FOOD ARE THE BEST..🌶🌶🌶🦞🦀🦐🦑🦪👍👍👍👍Eating the Eye and socket. 🤣🤣👀
The key to the Spanish cookbook is to use foods of the best quality, cooked in the simplest way without sauces or spices that mask their flavor, unlike, for example, asian or french cuisine. and tons of veggies! I advise those who want to enjoy spaniard gastronomy to visit, in addition to traditional restaurants, the new generation of vegetarians in which the products are harvested at the right moment of maturity and cooked with a delicacy that seems destined for the gods
I appreciate Mark As a lover of all types of food from alot of different cultures. His description of food and flavour is spot on. This guy loves chilli , super hot food can eat the hottest chilli's raw without breaking a sweat. So anything that has not got chilli in it he can still give an accurate review of taste , texture and freshness.
Mark, you tasted all varieties of food around the world. Have seen amazing tourist spots. It's like a vacation every day. And the best part is, you earn during this process. What a lovely life you are living. We all envy you man.
That video was really awesome! Thank you Mark for these recent beautiful spain episodes. It's nice to see my ancestors' delicious foods. I have been able to travel to some of the most amazing places on earth because of Mighty 💅🏼 Travels 🤧 Premium.
Wow, what a trip, beautiful! The food looked amazing, and the scenery too, you are one lucky guy to travel all over the world like you do.....thanks for taking people like me that doesn't travel along with you via RU-vid. 🙂
I have friends that eat fish eyeballs, they love it, i've never dared, lol! We musn't forget our home made potages, guisos and pucheros, all very healthy and wholesome foods! Mark next time you're over in Spain try these typical home made dishes, an explosion of flavours and textures, try the guiso de patatas con jibia, potage de bacalao con garbanzos, potage de espinaca, all very easy to make beautiful tasting and much cheaper than seafood, it's what every home has everyday, not to forget the simple patatas frita con chorizo y pimientos verdes all fried in olive oil wow, the list is just endless! Loved your video. Greetings from southern Spain (Cadiz) 💕💕
I personally don't think everyone dares to try "fish eye ball" but Mark did try. He is really professional as a food vlogger. He is so amazing and full of respect of other cultures, patterns, food. Thumb up!

This vid is important to me because I am allergic to all seafood (shellfish)...just to watch you present and eat such exotic (to my eyes) shellfish makes my mouth water...I am fascinated. WOW!!!
Nice video! Spanish cuisine is really tasty and unique! If you come to Asturias you need to try the Cachopo and Fabada for sure. There are so many good food dishes here I cannot recomend you all in one go. Hope you are enjoying every meal and if you need help around Asturias I can help! Keep up the good work and videos!
It has been very amazing to see u sampling the best seafood in the world. Real class from Galicia. What an excellent cuisine!!! Enjoy your meal. Kudos a a million. No utuber in the world has given such culinary excitement like you did every time.
Yes, they would, but he drank the Queen of pairing and spain's most special wine, manzanilla. If galician wines are great wirh seafood manzanilla is unbeatable and a bad manzanilla is an excellent wine. I would say he had a pretty good manzanilla pasada
So happy to finally see you enjoying our country in depth Mark! Food and cooking for us is very cultural (like many places) and a very important way of expressing our passion for life. Hope you come back as soon as you can! A Spanish subscriber.
@@FOODBF Get tin sea food at restaurant is just a joke. That's not a restaurant. It's a junk place. Btw most sea food is not even from Galicia or Spain.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey mate, amazing video as always! As a french living in spain I have to admit Spanish food, products and preparation is the best ever. What do You think, as someone who has traveled around the world?
Mark makes the ordinary seafood cooked with "so simple preparation, so few seasoning" so heavenly. Even the simple raw carrot baked over a naked fire tastes so delicious, so unusual. But what is so shocking to me was the prices - US$718 and US$507 for a meal for three persons is no longer heavenly but astronomical! Imagine instead of 6 pieces of clams or sea shells with a plate full of them in a Southeast Asian country such as Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam at a fraction of a cost! That would be another heaven indeed! I do enjoy the show though.
The sea cucumber is interesting and my first time hearing about them. The canned seafood is a must try for me. The lobster looked amazing and the roasted veggies compliments this dish so well. The presentation of the fish was really amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us.
Mark is on his way to 10 million subscribers and it’s clear that restaurants worldwide understand his influence and he’s earned every bit of it with his knowledge and genuine appreciation of great food. My favorite episodes are always the ones that are focused on seafood.
He’s mentally deficient. There was a video where he ate the huge poop Sack on this huge snail and the gills of a crab and pretended it was wonderful. S woman was trying to tell him not to eat those parts but just threw her hands in thei air as he was acting like it was delicious.
Mark, I love your dedication to your food based RU-vid-based side hustle and how you'll stay committed to doing what you do as a genuine labor of love. Keep up the good work my friend! 🙂
I'm from Spain and have been to o Grove this summer. I can attest that it is some of the best seafood in the world. I ended up going way over budget, and it was so worth it. I was never a big fan of mussels until I tried them there fresh out of the rias.
I love the way Mark looks like he is about to cry with every bite and it feels like you are tasting each bite with him from the excitement on his face when he"s eating that fish.😋
marc, this was a fantastic tour de force,I cannot believe you are not on Netflix, then again you may not want too, from this portugueses from California,I wish yu,the best, beautiful videos, thank you.
In my opinion there is no greater joy for a foodie like myself to share in an incredible meal with my other Foodie friends such as Jeffrey and Kevin. 👍👍
