This has been happening to me a lot lately(wandering thoughts). Isn't there a spirit of distraction and also a spirit of slumber? The enemy wants to keep us apart from our Heavenly Father. When I catch myself having distracted thoughts I repent but I also think maybe we should rebuke these spirits.

My experience is when I pray I feel in my spirit and I almost see that someone entering my room that's what disturbs me. And that feeling of hostile spirit and started praising god loudly. I don't want that spirit or disturbance to come again what can I do, and please pray for me.

O God please help me I suffer daily with this pain but there is no one to understand.. so I suffer alone and always try to handle but i can't......My mother left my wife with someone else without my permission. My mother-in-law is a servant of the Lord. The husband and wife have separated and married the wife to someone else.

You don't need to worry about praying out loud. Both Jesus and the disciples prayed out loud. However you must also consider the environment in the sense that if people are sleeping, you might not want to wake them up or disturb them. Other than that, it's perfectly fine to pray out loud where appropriate

@@stever507 Exposing the schemes of the enemy does not mean one is focusing on the enemy. In fact there is not a single book in the Bible that does not expose or indirectly warn against the enemy. 90% of Jesus's ministry on earth was warfare and confronting his greatest adversaries the devil. Every Christian is also a warfare indirectly or directly. Even when God created everything perfect, he stull warned Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge of Good and evil. If God wanted us to be ignorant, he'd never have included the workings of Satan in the Bible. The key is balance. Remember Satan's strength lies in ignorance

Prayer is not prayer please!! That's a lie straight from hell. Praying is communing with God. It's Spiritual because God and us are spirits. You cant pray and be sleeping! Or read the BIBLE and be sleeping! Do you watch movies and sleep or better still attend meeting with Top Executives and be sleeping?? I will leave you to answer that. I find this video very encouraging because last two nights, I had sleep breaks in between my routine and this video is an eye opener. May the Holy SPIRIT GIVE US THE REQUIRED STRENGTH TO PRAY, AMEN.

I have dealt with attention deficit disorder all my 47 years. I pray over 2 hours a day. I struggle with focus at a few points in prayer every day. I have to believe as i try to focus but struggle(in prayer), that God hears my prayers.

I understand your point. However there is a difference between being like God in essence and being like God in Authority. We are NOT like God in power or authority or as God head. But we are like Him in that we have his nature in us because we are born of him. 1 John 3 tells us when He Christ shall appear we shall be like Him for we shall see Him as he is. Because we are ambassadors of Christ on earth, we represent him here on earth. And so the words God commands us to speak, we speak in His name there for are sent under thesame authority. So the being like God in this context isn't in the same context satan tried to be like God. It is in the context that God is our father and we have his nature in us and are like Him in Character, mind (let this mind be in your which was in Christ Jesus), Spirit (if the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you)

In essence we are like God we were created like him in his image. He gave us power and authority in Luke 10:19 through Jesus Christ so essentially all of us Christians have authority over the enemy over all evil voices and thoughts. Satan wants you to believe that you're below him you're not used your authority in Christ and defeat the enemy.
