I have the Oupes Omega 3 and it does not disappoint. I got a great deal buying it with 2 x 240 watt solar panels for $2000 even. It'll run my AC on a sunny 85 degree day with panels hooked up for 6 or 7 hours. That rapid charge is no joke when needing a quick recharge from the wall.

I've got about 1600watts coming in to the DP and considering expanding the solar panels, will the link you provided for the 400v 30 amp solar breaker switch for $30 do the trick? They offer a 1000v 30 amp and 60 amp. Thank you for the videos, they are short, but to the point and well done.

Yes, you would never need anything bigger than that for the DP. Thank you! I try to keep all my videos shorter and too the point, I don’t like the fluff when I watch videos either!

Considering the 2048wh model. Price is decent. I have a delta 2 (1024wh), and could use a larger one for camping.

Just get the 3072wh one, you can always use the extra power and it’s not they much more

@@portercreek well size is a factor for me. The delta2 is a perfect size, 3072 would seem large and cumbersome to move around home and camp.

What solar panels are you using. Are they not higher than 15 amps? I am not sure how this works the specs say 150 volts is max and 15 amps is max. So can you go above those figures? Thanks, love the comparison.

They are 7.5 amps so 15 in series. Generally you can go over in watts not volts. It’s like an outlet in your house, it is capable putting out 2400 watts but if you plug a device in that only uses 100 watts, that is okay. It will only use what it can and does nothing with the other 2300 watts. Thanks!

I am searching for a portable power unit for my shed. I am currently using a LiTime setup. However, I want something that I can move from the shed to the house as needed. In your opinion, how would the Oupes work for extended use (1 to 2 months)? How would it handle being used in a hot shed? My LiTime setup does not like the heat in my shed.

You push the button to the right of the led screen, that should turn on a WiFi and Bluetooth symbol on the led screen. Once it is flashing, open the app and click the + button on the top right of the app. It should automatically connect from there!

@@portercreek Per watt? Do what you think is best. I decreased my utility bill by 35 percent by unplugging items when not in use. Turning on the hot water heater when it is needed. Not using a clothes drier, Hanging outside or hanging clothes inside and using fans. When i leave the house I turn off all the breakers not necessary. And by using LED bulbs in the high use areas. At first it was extra work, but now it is routine. If you are not using it, unplug it. Or use your earned money to support the electric company.

@@kenneths.9315 since this vid I have installed a whole house system that is much cheaper per KW. The pay back rate is about 7 years on this system. I have since applied and been approved by the electric company to triple my system. After the install is complete it will be about a 5 year payoff. On the original system, a large chunk of that expense was the infrastructure from the meter to the inverter including transfer switches and breaker panels wiring etc. We have a home based business as well as livestock so our electric bill was about $300 a month, now we have been getting a check for $150 a month, I like the passive income. We have also become more conscious of the amount of electricity we have been using too.

@@portercreek Thank you, but I have been the solar route for about $52K. You are comparing .30 Kw to .11kw for grid power, Solar without a backup generator is fraught with problems. In a grid down situation solar is better than nothing. i do have solar panels, but personally I have seen first hand of limitations, Moat importantly the rated watts are over stated. Solar panels output is determined by the solar panel directly at the sun at the equator. As I stated do what you think is best, I enjoyed your video. It seems that every power bank sha features another brand does not, Enjoyed your video.
