Correction: at 10:27, you're going to want to click the "Mark as private" option instead of "Hide this game" in order to hide the fact you play Destiny 2 from your loved ones. "Hiding" a game hides it from _you_.

It feels worth it to shout out Good Old Games here. It's run by CD Projekt, and unlike Steam, you own the games you buy there. All game purchases include the files to install the game offline as many times as you want. Their library isn't as big as Steam's, but that's also because most publishers don't want you to be able to buy their games, they want you to license them. Also CD Projekt are massive chads in my book for releasing their games on multiple stores and not requiring you to install their launcher. Red Dead 2 still requires the Rockstar launcher even if you buy it on Steam. Titanfall 2 still requires origin even if you buy it on Steam. If you buy The Witcher or Cyberpunk on steam, it won't force you to download GOG Galaxy Check them out if you haven't already
Also worth pointing out that Lyle's shot at that twitter guy was pretty bad faith because we did used to own our games and on some storefronts, like GoG, still do. Steam could have taken this chance to be bros about this.
I've been there too. Keep pressing on and don't give up. It won't be fun, but you'll get through it and you'll be stronger for surviving it. You may not *feel* stronger, but that's okay. Just focus on making it to the next day.
