Thank you! That's one thing i didn't have...cash! I wish i had a lot more money at the time...there were many great records that i passed on because i couldn't afford to buy everything! I overspent...I HAD too!!! Too good to pass up! I had to scramble to make my rent payment!...but it was all worth it!

Jeff! This was so crazy! I bought probably 1000 records...so I've got lots of boxes of records to contend with!...everyone of them needs to be ultrasonically cleaned too! But, there's so many great records, it's a good "problem" to have! 🤣😂🤣

Biggest mistake made in the history of vinyl record collecting... and i have the honor of being the person who screwed up so bad!!! 🤣😂🤣 Someone could have bought the whole lot and done VERY well!!! Three record store owners that i know looked at this collection before we were allowed to dig in it. They all passed or waaay low-balled...and everyone of them are complaining about their loss now! My friend ended up with the $5000 record...he also got 4 copies of Maggot Brain (that's how crazy this place was!) He also found Morgen!

I didn't keep it a secret per se... I'm just 4 months backlogged on videos. You should have seen some of the other records that they had pulled out and priced! I can't remember any specifics, but, $3-5 records priced at $20! 🤣😂🤣 If they didn't recognize it, they didn't think it was good!

Very cool Yow story! I was fortunate enough to see JL several times! So good! I was playing bass for Thor in 2006. Scratch Acid was doing a reunion tour then. They showed up at the door of our gig in Chicago. I told them i could probably get them in, but they ended up going elsewhere.

Yes!!! Those Black Widow records were found on day 3 (my next video)...so many other insane finds coming up too!!! Soooo many records worth hundreds!!! First Bowie! The Golden Dawn!!! (look that one up!)...i was going to post the values of the records i found, but decided not to because it's very time consuming...but the numbers are astronomical!!!

The real crazy thing is, a couple of years ago, i was living about 200 yards away from this place!!! It was right under my nose!!!

Yeah! She was the main person in charge of getting rid of the records.

I was really big into surf in the mid 90s...i worked at a record store at the time, and i curated the surf (and rockabilly) sections of the store. Now i always pick it up when i find it cheap.

@@VinylHunter thanks for checking. My rooster pressing has them on wrong sides. I've seen another on discogs too. I've been trying to figure out if there are two versions of the rooster pressing, or they just fixed the label mess up during pressing.

How she charged was, I'd bring her my box of finds...she'd glance at it...then she'd say "give me $250 (or something) for it". $3 per record is a pretty good estimate of what i paid for each of these.
