I appreciate all of your videos on shoe making and engineering. I am learning to make shoes and I am an Industrial Engineer who is ten years out of practice bc of an injury. I think I should take some refresher courses, but not sure what to take at this point. I need to find a school like yours here in the states.

Thank you so much for making the shoe patter videos. What gets me confused is the English and french system counter point and heel height between the 2 systems. The Nigerians take the standard last length from the back around the side over the front of the shoe and multiply that number times 20% to get the CP and add 1 cm to the cp to get the heel height, but the English and French measure the SSL from the bottom of the last.The french add 20 to that number and use that number in cm to get the cp/heel height number, which is almost the same English heel height number when the ssl is measured from the last bottom times 20% plus 1 cm. Point being is the cp between each system is off 1cm so actually the English heel height should be used instead of the English cp. I know it is confusing and I need help please. Thank you!
