Mine held up for the entire life span of my helmet. And i wore it in scorching sun in Asia for 1,5 years during that time

hm yeah, helmet much too large on you. should not be able to see your entire nose. measure your head in centimeters and match that up with the different sizes. like most women youre a small or probly an extra small.
