I know you already know this and I'm not trying to be disrespectful at all in any way, but at 8:03 you say that the OG Space Jams say "Jordan Jam" when we all know that you got flustered with your words and meant to say "Jumpman Jam." I wear my OG's all the time. I want to tell you that I greatly appreciate your videos and the time you put into educating people on shoes. I am a die hard Air Jordan fanatic like yourself. I also agree with your recent twitter post, WE WANT TO SEE INSIDE A JORDAN FACTORY AS THEY ARE MADE AND LEADING UP TO A RELEASE! *I regret never getting to witness your ShoeZeum. It was on my bucket list before I die... lol #cheers
Saw that tinker hatfield i.e question vid he answer the question as if saying. "I don't give a fuck about the old shit. Stop focusing on the retros and look, what i came up with this new high tech badass air jordan"
laghouston I don't think he is saying he "doesn't give a fuck about the old shit" at all. I think he is simply saying that the actual nature of his job is to be a forward thinker. He designs new shoes. If you listen to other parts of the video, someone asks him what to expect with the Jordan 2011 and he replies by saying that the 2011 had actually been finished 6 months earlier and that he was already working on the 2012. That was before the 2011 even released! He also said that he designs the shoes and Nike names/markets them and that he has nothing to do with that aspect of the shoes, nor does he have anything to do with the retros because those were shoes he designed many years ago. In watching other interviews with Tinker, I believe that he understands how iconic sneakers he has designed are and how important they are to people, but in this instance, the Jordan XI is also a sneaker he designed 14-15+ years prior to this video and he simply had no idea why Nike named the shoe the way they did.
@@JordanGeller hey Jordan, I hope this reaches U. I have to buy multiple pairs of Jordans because of my feet being 2 different sizes. No Cap, 1 size is 13.5 & the other is 13. Sometimes I even have to buy size 14 because for some reason Nike stopped selling 13.5s to the public. I play basketball in the 11 lows, both the Barons 11 low, & the cobalt 11 IEs. Even just got the J11 low IEs in black cement, that eerily are similar to the Jordan 3 black cement. I need this pair of Jordan 11 lows!!! Are they listed online anywhere for sale?i would sell my J collection and my yeezys/kyries/lebrons to make it happen. Can I buy them from you?
I have a pair of these ...have they been produced for the public?? mine have a date under inner sole 2014.04.02 or are mine just very good reps??? confused😕!
Damn what a shoe you got there. I'm just curious what happen the the kicks mj wore in his defining moments of his career. For example the aj6 he wore first championship, the 7s agains Portland, when he hit the 7 3pointers or the last shot 14s who owns those pairs?
I am working here in Saudi Arabia and I would like to know where to buy this pair of shoes cuz I really like it a lot. Please do let me know about seller that won't sell fakes online.
The ie 11 is actually a mistake on the box label. On the first ones that released in 96 it said air Jordan 11 low ie then the color was white and whatever the other colors were. It was actually suppose to read ie white.... Every the other 11 low release didn't have ie on the tag because they didn't have ie white. Read it on niketalk blog. Guy has pictures and everything
They didn't say Jordan 11 low. Just air Jordan low. Nike never said they were low top versions of the 11. People just assumed they were and it stuck. This is also explained in the same article you mentioned. Great info on there niketalk.com/t/570813/mystery-solved-air-jordan-xi-low-i-e-name
On the link I posted the reason that guy came to the assumption is because he posted a picture of sky Jordans in a 13.5 c and the colorway is ie white/light grey-cobalt. Just thought it was interesting but I'm not 100% sure if the guy is right or not
Why does the color that they're referring to as red, looks more like someone poured a little bit of coffee into their carrot juice, than it does red to me? Is this question confusing? Sorry.
Ummm. No. It was just a typo on the original release of the men's sizes only. And the name stuck. the IE was not a part of the shoes name. It was a part of the shoes color description. It just got pushed up a line by accident because of the size of the tag. There not even 11s. Nike never called them 11s when they released. There just called air Jordan lows by Nike. People gave them the name 11 lows . And added the ie to the name by mistake also. This had all been explained on niketalk. And here's the link. niketalk.com/t/570813/mystery-solved-air-jordan-xi-low-i-e-name
Mike Labonte that's the dumbest shit I've ever read. Now I have to read a structural engineering book...👎🔫🔪💣Niketalk is not a credible source for anything✋
