The shofar, or ram's horn, is the ceremonial trumpet of the Jewish people, and has special meaning for born-again believers in Yeshua as well. The shofar is one of the earliest musical instruments still in use today. It is mentioned almost 70 times in the Bible. It is a call to assemble, or a proclamation of liberty. It is a sound that frightens Satan, and is like a prayer without words. The shofar prepares us to hear the VOICE OF GOD, and is the sound that will precede the return of the Messiah.
