Shogun has been the best mc in the uk since Vulcan dropped. Complex lyrics and his flow is unparalleled, don’t know an mc in the uk that could go bar for bar with him. The Scottish accent is the only thing that keeps him from blowing up and it’s not even that hard to understand.
honestly from the start I wanted him to win but I'm glad he didn't purely for his comment 'if i win this im going to turn down the contract' LOOL dont get me wrong i love him, he more than worthy of winning but I'm glad that opportunity went to someone else. Shogun don't need it ya feel
@@amybaker7054 Yh, his attitude started to fall at the end of the show. I don’t blame him they kept ranking him low. To be honest it’s not even a contract. It’s a “one” record deal for one song. They hype the show like you’re fully signed to the label.
Cannot count how many times I’ve played this since it’s dropped, Shogun is a bomb that’s about to blow and I pray it happens sooner rather than later. He deserves it.
I do love McCroy but in my opinion he’s almost too technically accurate if you know what I mean? Like shogun has a little more character and charisma cuz he can go off beat for a bit come back etc, bit more interesting that way or nah?
@@broko_ mcroy is a very talented lad anaw defo! he's sure to make moves as well but like shogun a reckon him and a lot of other upcoming artists in Scotland need to branch out more colab with artist outside the county, push the boundaries and try there best to compete with London, Manchester and Birmingham artists and a can see a lot a door's open up for them..once again shogun's doing a lot for the Scottish music scene has to be said!

I also think a collab between him and shogun would be a lyrical masterclass👌🏻 they certainly make me proud tho it’s inspiring to see people in my country so passionate and determined about something I fell in love with, ya know?
