They didn't only take away the opportunity for both of the players to compete and find out who's the best, but also the opportunity for judo fans all over the world to watch a legendary game.
So true it was the closest anyone had gotten to beating Ono in years and An really deserved the possibility to fight it out until there was a clear score. The score really felt like the thought of the judges was: „It had been such a long day we are all tired and the fighters are too so we are just going give a score to the next close attack.“ It also leaves a Bad taste when such a great fight ends in a score like this, because it makes the fight less rewatchable, devalues the win for the victor and cheats the loser. So essentially it’s a lose lose Situation.
Agreed, can easily tell from the match that Ono was superior most of the time. An only could do ground seoi-nage to 'attack-and-run' all the time whereas Ono could do several attacks and in control. Ono hands down.
野性爆弾天才Hey, rule changed? More than that at the September Judo Contest The shoulders entered the tatami mats, but not all the matches were wazari. Do not you know that the Japanese are ashamed?
Many comments here stating that this match was a shame have done nothing but proved that judges are really needed. Some of you even used improper words. I hope you are not judokas. Otherwise you are such a shame to judo.
Bad judgment. I just don't like An always being defensive on kumite and always dropping for ippon seoi, his judo isn't what you call honorable. He's only relied on his wins on sneaky ways judges aren't calling on him that could count as shidoes.
@@adidasteve What don't you get about "honorable judo"? An's judo is about whatever it takes to win in judo matches against high rank judoka without getting shido, tactical judo. If you can't see what I'm saying then you are blind as fuck. I hope you open your eyes when you watch judo. Pay more attention to what each of them are doing to win jackass.
Agreed, he is so defensive all the time, all he could do was 'ground-seoi-nage' which is commonly considered as 'attack-&-run'. Ono's fight was so much more versatile. People who say this match is rigged are just out of biasness and jealously. Period.
Clearly Ono technic is better, An should try harder.. Sadly An avoid Ono grab all the time, 80% time playing dirty avoiding. Such disgraceful move. An should be the champ, champ of avoiding grab of his Gi and I champ of turning his back after each throw, shame An don't even know how to wear his Gi, 80% of the time in the competition his Gi was like kept lose to avoid opponent hard to get hold of throwing his as s.
You have to understand a little more about the judo catch fight. An is not giving one arm to block Ono's uchimata, while Ono is holding An's arm between the neck and shoulders from above to block An's seoi nage, and pushing An's arm down and inward continuously. This aspect is often seen in the match between the opponent's stance's skillful seoi nage and uchimata's skillful player. When Ono's right arm is under An's arm, Ono tries to change position through leg checks without making another attack. Conversely, when Ono's right arm is above An, An does not give the left arm. This is another proof.
@@tojin Ono is unquestionably a great player. Objectively, ono has been the ruler of that weight class for several years. However, even Ono said after that match that he didn't want a win like this. Have a nice day. Little boy.

@@マムヤユ-u3z まさにそれ。負けたのが認められないから、自分たちがいつもやっている買収行為がすぐに頭に浮かぶんじゃね?(笑) くだらんやつらだ。Exactly agreed. They just can't accept the fact that An lost so the first excuse they can come up with is 'bribery' which is their specialty. What a loser lmao
It was a game that showed just how much the IJF officials cheated. they have no judo spirit, Therefore, judo should now be removed from the Olympic sport. How many rules have they changed in the meantime? The reason was that Japan could not overcome the judo skills of Korea and Mongolia. Cowardly Japanese, they make technology developed by Korea illegal Even the lower body attack that the Mongolians were good at was illegal In a few years it will be transformed into judo dancing naked. I saw today the deeds of the Japanese Judo Elders who were timid to the IJF officers. They can't let go of their cunning Japan, which buys referees every time, is a shame for that country.
@@tojin look at you bro, you dont even explain what it is, cause you dont know the rules, have a look others comments as well most of people has same thought with me haha what a dickhead.
