Shoaib was a real gem in the legends era, same as Brett Lee, Irfan Pathan, Venkatesh Prasad, Ajit Agarkar. We should be proud that we have watched such cricket matches, and considered these players as our heroes copying their bowling action and celebrating style. I personally loved the bowling action of Javagal Sreenath then Laxmipathy Balaji, but I was fan on Shoaib and Lee when it came to speed. What a lovely era of cricket, when the rivalries were on one side and sports still bloomed. And all kids chose their heroes without the thought of a nation rivalry because they saw the bowler splitting the wicket or sending the wicket flying. Miss that.
