This is my insight but I believe Muerem’s verse was so short only due to the fact that there was such a big arc that felt so overwhelming but it ended up not even being anything to do with the king but the aftermath of Gon and everyone else. The king had this god complex that eventually subsided with just a normal human girl and that was that which I don’t know if it was intentional but well written

But let me reach here, Meruem's story itself was anti climactic, in that the big nuke that symbolised humanity's monstrosity and stuff didn't kill him, but then he slowly died of poison instead. Add to that we're very used to Fabvl's style of building up and going crazy, so just maybe the anti-climax was intentional and Fabvl's a genius? lmao. But on another note, I agree Zach's verse wasn't the best, but I still think it's a lot better than you give it credit for, because I think you missed a few bars because you don't know the character, because you said you gave up on Black Clover right?

Meruem having a short verse was a little disappointing like his life, however every scene of his verse none of it was about fighting or violence, He is a ruler not a warrior or blood crazed monster his development is some of the best in villains I've seen

I agree with you on None Like Joshua. He will start out ok but he tends to ruin his own verses. His Dio verse being a prime example. He will kill his flow and rhyme random words that don't sound good or just make no sense.

I think why you think that Zachs verse wasn't good is because you didn't read/watch Black Clover. If you got up to the 10th arc in black clover and finished it I feel like you would really like Zachs verse in this vid.
